  1. Easy to remove ths siren after all that. Surprised theres no immobiliser. I thought Leon might like to know he was half right about the battery... Its down to 69% capacity, which according to Snap On is replacement time. BUT it doesnt have any dead cells, so it should be fine. That said it is a 6 year old Pitwork battery, so I'll replace it soon. New alarm goes in tomorrow, and this nightmare is over!
  2. I'm not aware of a HICAS delete kit for them, but you can probably get something. I haven't looked for an LSD yet, so I don't know how difficult they are to source. I've also never driven a car with one, so I have no idea what it would drive with one in it. I might try to track one down one day though. No thread about the banjo bolt that I'm aware of, but its the banjo bolt in the block carrying the oil feed to the turbo. I haven't done it, but Scotty and Aaron assure me it's not too hard. Plan on doing it at the next service. Brad has given you the info for the language conversion, I've got it and it's pretty good. There are also stickers for the buttons (Brad has them on his so you can check it out). I personally don't like the stickers and can work everything out myself. Plus I kind of like the Japanese buttons! I prefer the Aero over the Axis, hence I bought one! Kind of wanted leather, but in the end got cloth, figured it'd be easier to maintain. DVD-ROM is useless since you can't get Aus maps for the navigation system. I've only used mine for Brad to do the English conversion. Mine also didn't have a stacker in it, it had a Jap Mini Disc player I've just replaced with a Clarion DVD deck. SOOOO awesome!
  3. He's round the corner from you too Robbie, so might take you up on that. It does get cold at night...
  4. Syd, first thing I recommend... Is SEARCH!! Question 3 still has an active thread from within the last week. Opinions vary, check the thread "m35 oil and filter" 4. Yes it is normal. Dunno if they fitted band expander but my understanding is even so it'll show 90MHz. 5. No. No way of getting sat nav working, but you can get it translated. Look at www.xanavi.com.au to find your local person.
  5. No! Bad Nankangs! Had them on my N14 SSS, previous owner put them on. Would never, ever recommend them to my worst enemy! Did I mention... No! Bad Nankangs!
  6. Plenty of cars Shelly, they can stretch out!
  7. Ok if you could make it early that would be best, so I can get the car ready to drive round for the alarm install. Has to be mobile by 12.
  8. Phew! So when are you coming round for the air box?
  9. I have yet to see an aftermarket dump with a cat in it. Brain fade Aaron?
  10. I want a write up of everything you've done to yours at some point! Especially if it's so easy!
  11. Anyone got any idea how much it'll cost to ship a set of shocks interstate? I fear this may push me into a set of shiny BCs...
  12. If I stop being a tight arse and just get my coilovers we'll be set. Otherwise we have to swap. Which is going to be a pain with one hoist
  13. Pedders kit? Hmm... I'm getting my adjustable rear toe arms (the ones Cam linked to ebay above) fitted shortly at the same time as a wheel alignment and it should fix any issues. I'm not going low, but was told the extra stiffness should be nice, so I got sucked in. Didn't imagine I'd have any issues with the alignment, now you've got me second guessing...
  14. 1. differences between RS/RX/ARX/AXIS? They all have the same VQ25DET (in series 1), but Iain is a nerd and can answer the rest of them. Some have HICAS and LSDs, AR-X has more boost and plastic overfenders. 2. The front bar you're talking about is the Aero kit, which was a factory option on RS and RX. I don't think the wing was a factory option, and you'd have to chase it down through Yahoo Auctions Japan. 3. Turbo, but Aaron and Scotty have found if you bore out the banjo bolt on the turbo oil feed from 1mm to 3mm they don't expire. 4. Depending on what car you go for, HICAS might not even be an option. My RS doesn't have HICAS. 5. Yes it is, in Adelaide you need to talk to Brad (ducati02 on here). 6. Series 1 is VQ25DET, Series 2 is VQ35DE. Series 2 also has tweaked bumpers and a tweaked (and probably slightly nicer) interior. I see you're in Adelaide, you're welcome to check out my RS. I love it, greatest car I've owned, and has the Aero option you're after. Otherwise come out to the next cruise and have a look. There are a few different ones, I know we're expecting a couple of RSs, an AXIS and maybe an RX, but I'm not sure if there are any AR-Xs in Adelaide.
  15. Yep. Andrew promised around 3 pound and a significant power gain. I got both. Mind you thats my impression. Hasn't been on a dyno... yet...
  16. Why can't you just replicate the pipework and sell the pipework separately?
  17. Why no to B? Not interested in doing a kit or installs on other cars? I think you've got a few people interested, probably sell a couple of kits...
  18. So when does it go on a dyno?
  19. They look hot. But my new favourite for black cars has to be Aaron's Hiros. Look tops on his car I think!
  20. You and your flames... Looks great Robbie, you going to keep them on for the cruise?
  21. Silver C34 turning into a group of units on South Road near the underpass. I was stuck in the gridlock from the accident!
  22. What size are they? They're the smallest wheels I've ever seen on an AXIS?!
  23. I'm trying to decide whether to replace all my rotors with slotted ones or just get them machined. They've got enough left in them to just get them machined I think, and the rears need it badly. I've got HPX pads sitting here ready to go in, was going to try and do it all at once.
