  1. They're 16/10 spring rate, are BCs 12/10 or 10/8? It isn't on the Just Jap site and I couldn't find it on here. Just curious how much stiffer the Silk Roads would be... Pretty ironic if they're going to be teeth rattling stiff.
  2. Got a very quick response... Sounds good to me. Will order a set to fit with the sway bars!
  3. The law would have to change first. All the mindless sheep think this will only effect 'hoons'. They don't think about it effecting normal, everyday tax payers. Until it starts to, I think most people will buy into the bullshit media outlets like A Current Affair feed them... "OMG its the hoons again! Deadly, deadly hoons!" No chance in hell there'll be a blown light bulb or bad brakes in my car, that's for sure. Most other import/modified car owners I know are the same, have too high standards to allow something unsafe.
  4. Done, thanks Dale. Although by the sounds of it running at standard height it'll be of no benefit at all.
  5. Are these included in what we've already ordered, or worthwhile? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-STAGEA-M35-SKYLINE-V35-350Z-REAR-TOE-ARMS-/130522410278?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e63bded26
  6. I signed it. Hitting people three times for every defect is rediculous. Especially when you know they'll pay no attention to 80 year olds in their 40 year old cars with their 40 year old brakes and 40 year old suspension, and concentrate entirely on 'hoons'.
  7. Hmm interesting. No, I didn't have mine coated or wrapped yet, left everything up to Andrew so far. I'm guessing it hasn't been wrapped, so I'll be adding that to the ever expanding list. Not sure what they're charging for the rest of the system, I'll call him tomorrow and check. Waiting to post it here!
  8. I filled up for just under $100 for a tank of 98 yesterday. Think that'll be my last time filling up at United, apparently they're dropping the Premium 100 10% ethanol juice because they've had issues from the Queensland floods.
  9. Look awesome on a black car, good work!
  10. Umm... they make a loom, so we know the F-con will work on an NM35, the issue is just finding a tuner. Looking forward to Dust providing a write up of his install, if he's actually got it running.
  11. Yes but those couple of days will make the difference between a weekend and no weekend, and I know if I had the weekend free I'd rather have them pre weekend Look forward to getting them. Are they 'steath black'?
  12. Hue, don't take comments the wrong way. Fresh eyes might find a new way of solving the issues! Keep at it, and best of luck to you! Search through here and you can see what other people have tried, might help a bit. No one has managed to get this working so far here, but the Japanese can do it so it must be possible. Do you have some kind of electrical engineering background?
  13. Oh yeah! Dale, realistically I'm not sure I'll get a chance to fit next weekend, so if you want to bump me down the list that's ok with me. Maybe Sunday if I'm lucky, but dyno day and tarmac rally next Saturday, so I'm happy to wait if it means other people can get theirs in. As long as I get mine before Dunc Sounds good though. I paid for them so long ago it feels like I'm getting free sway bars!
  14. I wont rub it in with videos and photos if you lend me the impul...
  15. Yeah I will. Dunc has that setup and it looks awesome. Need to get the boost gauge working first. Seen Scott's soldering instructions on here, just need to get around to doing it.
  16. Motherf**ker. I looked but I did not find. How did you do that?
  17. Dunno, might be busy Dyno Day now, first SARC round (Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally) is on... Does Billy Bob want my spot? Plus Andrew doesn't think I should put the car on the dyno until it's been tuned, but it seems safe... Need to organise to get your footage Glenn, and Vu's. Been slack so far. Sorry, I mean busy...
  18. True, but you can search by ECU model number there can't you? So you can check? I didn't read anything saying it was US only models, could be lucky and get JDM too??? Or am I seeing that glass as half full again?
  19. As you might have seen in the What have you done to your Stagea thread, I recently bought a Nismo 280km/h cluster. After I bought it, Iain informed me there are two versions, one to work with the factory screen/nav and one that doesn't. The one that does is RNM50/8HH3, which is the one I have. If you have freakishly small girly hands (*ahem*Iain*ahem*), you can do this with the steering wheel on. If you don't, you'll mangle it leaving the steering wheel on, and you'll have to do it again, like I do, as none of the screws will line up for the lower plastic cover and the plastic ring round the key barrel. It is damn near impossible to access the lower screws without removing the indicator and wiper stalks. Andy has posted some instructions on removing the steering wheel already, which you'll find if you search. I might try and update this after I remove the whole thing and do it properly. It looks the goods, and I'm stoked that my screen still works! Thanks to Iain for the help!
  20. It seemed like supporting mods were the same, fuel pump, injectors, ECU, suction pipe, etc. And I've seen GTX's going for US$1300. I've been quoted three different options for the turbo, the two highflow options were around $1800 and $2300. Will the gearbox even cope with more than 300awkw on e85?
  21. I haven't had a good look underneath yet, it was fairly dark when I picked it up, but looking at the pics on Andrew's camera, I think I know what the problem is... I think he 'forgot' to put a muffler on the back...
  22. Are there plans to do a kit for others looking at upgrading to a GTX? They're pretty cheap out of the US at the moment, and I'm thinking with a kit it'll probably work out cheaper than a high flow.
  23. No idea... I definitely won't be complaining about it being too quiet! It can be heard from Japan!
  24. Or tequila So that's why you exist! Now I see why Scotty's upgrading the fuel system, making it flow enough tequila to get some POWAH!
  25. Nothing wrong with a bit of over engineering. Although all you Mexicans are nuts, so...
