  1. yea mate.. That explains it very well! Now you have seen it... how easy is that to do? Cheers for the pic, I didn't think to do the pic like that..! Good one.
  2. 2 x walbro pumps are not likely to keep up with 1680cc injectors either.. There are enough tech'ed up guys on here to help you through the process if you keen to get to the truth. spill the beans on your intended use so they can help you nut out the layout of parts required.. 1100 hp of turbo's is going to be in need of seriously major support systems. Oil, pipes, coolers, fuel, clutch, drive shafts?? that list will go on for a bit! I would consider a $50k budget as a good place to start. That doesn't cover screw ups, parts that dont fit, and breakages...
  3. Dan.. empty your inbox mate. I cant send you a detailed reply to your question if I cant send it to you! Go and delete some old PM's out of ya box mate.. then send me another PM to let me know that I can send you the info your after! cheers mate Aaron
  4. The blue circle is the oil return port for the VVT. The oil comes into there from the VVT valve and this port allows the oil to return to the head and drain away. does that clear that up for you? I pulled it out just to see what was in there! There is nothing that I can see in there that would/could be of any other use! (but I did have to check! hahaahaa) Anyway, DONT pull it out unless you need to.. and I cant see why you would need to..
  5. still 2 spots left! any takers??

  8. I cut my stock plenum up years ago.. and it is still in place! my throttle is welded directly to the front of the plenum. If the job is nice and neat, with rounded edges to help prevent the air tumbling inside, it should go ok. My engine has top mount and had zero issues! try it first.. you may get away with it. If it doesn't work, it didn't really cost u anything to try!
  9. well I'm 33, my mate is 43 and just bought a V35, my other mate is over 50 and had is V35 a couple of years now.. So beat that!
  10. at the end of the day... all said and done, a standard~ish V6 commo engine is gonna be nothing but a waste of time and money! There are much easier options out there..
  11. I have been digging around looking for the humble old flow maps! seems to be lots of info that doesn't quite add up, but this thread from another forum certainly adds some info.. http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=165876 There are a few maps on here!
  12. huh? stop smoking cheap crack! If you are bothered to do that... Then why not do something extremely different.. 11L cummins! It will run smoother, make less impact to the world and it WILL make big power and huge torque! Sound totally stupid now doesn't it!
  13. power loss at 7psi is not likely to be an ECU issue. I would be checking (or doing a temp swap) of the AFM. If you go and buy another AFM, dont get caught and buy a cheap chinese copy.. they dont work! My old ECU was delivered with a speed cut inside the ecu. It also had some other things done before i bought it. It never suffered any of the issues you poor buggers are stuck with. I could run 15psi boost (killed some stock turbos doing it)! It blew truck loads of fuel like a diesel, but it did make power! I had trouble in wet weather, popping, splatters and general crap funning.. found a rub hole in the side of the AFM (old owner) where water was getting into the innner workings. Got another AFM and no more issues.. Find somebody with the same model skyline, throw them a case of beer, and spend a friday arvo swapping parts! Thats how I found my problem..! happing boosting (when you get back to that!)

spots are still free, who else wants to rip skids and have 8 hours of fun??
  15. This smells fishy to me.. If you do get to the bottom of this stuff, and it isnt a misunderstanding, I think that the mods should ban this user/users, I know a few people in Rocky, I will be informing them of this scammer..

No, cars need to comply with me! haahahaa.. umm, must have full exhaust, prefer sound under 98db. no wheel caps.. arms inside windows, nothing really hard. no special licence or car mods or anything. A stock skyline/ falc-adore works fine. Some vids:
  17. In a normal clutch or cone type LSD like a borg warner, that would probably be the case.. however, the Nissan LSD pack is sealed. I cant see the merit in going to a heavy oil other than slightly changing the drag on the star gears.. My 2 standard diffs ran 2.1 and 2.4mm shimms all up. So I gave it 3.3mm shimms all up. The diff was all but locked 24/7! was somewhat unfreindly in carparks and servo's. I reduced it to 2.6mm and it one legs EVERYWHERE.. I will be trying 3mm next to see if I cant get a nice result.
