  1. Looks like turbos gotta come off for complaince, then put back on later with an engineers cert. Thank god I overbudgeted
  2. I need to get a second opinion on this situation. I've just imported a '89 MX-5 and I'm getting it ready for complaincing. The first engineer to have a look at it said that the turbo has to be removed before it can be complainced. It was my understanding that 15y/o imports were allowed to have performance modifications. Are victorian laws different to others? or is the engineer just wrong?
  3. Looks like my MX-5 import is landing shortly in Melbourne. Can anyone recommend me a good car transporter to get the car from the docks to the Compliance work shop in the Ringwood area? Got quoted $120 from an agent but I think we can do better I rather not go through the hassel of permits and driving it.
  4. There was an importer's website that specialized in many exotics from Singapore, Hong Kong and other RHD countries. I've been trying to find it again but nobody seems to remember. I guess my post is pointless, but such an importer/exporter agent does exist!
  5. You best bet is to import from Hong Kong or Singapore for a RHD
