yep all good, now when you slip it out of power mode into the A/T position what does this signify? as for the towbar, well im approaching a local buisnees on the nw coast, i think theres a third person here in tas on the forums who also wants one, i will ask for a small group price if you like, Btw when i bought the stagea the guy had lost the original key virtually after he bought it, from this im assuming it has no original immob/alarm system standard/factory fitted,, any idea how much a replacment key from nissan is? I think i will just go ahead and get an aftermarket kit and tap into the central locking kit. cheers Damo

GMB, yeah thanks i have had a look but may need to do some fine tuning in search, i kinda bought it on a whym, well sort of, i knew the history, it landed here less than 6 months ago from japan, and was sourced privately and was the highest grade at auction. It had one service at a local garage i have a lot to do with, so i jumped on it, plus it has stopped me pouring another 6 or 8 or 10 grand into my skyline, i have to draw the line somewhere in pouring so much money into a gtst......

hey, yeah i have her, picked her up yesterday. Its a 98 Dayz edition, immaculate, still getting used to her, my manuals barely have one bit of english in them, i was told the button next to the auto shifter is some sort of power assist to do with extra power through the rev range?? it has three positions, 1, power, 2, A/T 3, snow... what are the first two?? i also have a switch to left of the steering wheel with a stick diagram of a chassis and wheels with a "S" in the middle i think?? And no i havent seen a lot of stagea's about, although theres a white one that visits often across the road from me, (in D'port), cheers Damo

hey all,well my next stage of action is in full swing. I just purchused a 98' Dayz edition Stagea. (for towing the liner to the drags, daily driving, etc) I want to hear from other Tasmanian Stagea owners on how they got on fitting a towbar and who did it and so forth, I will post up a pic or two for the two (possibly more) people interested, I am also seeking a translated manual (not really needed but would be good) , cheers, Damo

yeah built one especially so customers can view, its along side the workshop/to youre left before u walk into the main office.

well back from getting the work done, and tune... well sort of , work was performed but they neglected to tell me that the dyno wasnt operational! fark! it had a tune without going on the dyno, "a road test tune" so back up on the 17th to get it dynoed and see what kw's she is pumping out the one posative thing that was said was that it felt strong, so i guess that makes me feel slightly better with the situation, thanks to DJRIFT for meeting me with the part my mate needed, cheers Damo

Well, its that time.... Last of the mods for now; Z32AFM and 555 injectors, tune/dyno run. looking forward to it, as last time i went up i was only running premium fuel/standard turbo and Brad was only prepared to do a safe tune. This time round I have the Vg3o + inj and afm as well as supporting mods. I think the biggest hiccup will be trying to get in the driveway! My new front bar is extremly low. Im actually trying to get a hold of DJRIFT as i wanna pick up a tailsshaft for a mate, if anyone knows him well enough could they contact him so he can forward his mobile or tell me where he works. (he did tell me sometime ago, but i have forgotten). If anyones going to be about 2morrow let me know, cheers Damo

bottom part only, the botm bit of the seat may have been slightly bent to begin with, hence bending it into line so it bolts up

yup two seater, from memory i think we had to do a tiny bit of bending to make sure where the seat bolts down underneath the holes lined up... no biggie

yes they do, have a set in my 33gtst ...Edit.... fit into my S1

Hmmmm... going on ere then?? well i cant help with the bits u need but I may take the plenum (depending), rims and we can always talk about the engine....

got one here in D'port at the Rotech workshop, engine/loom/turbo ready to go, no ecu with this one but i think i know of someone who may part with his. also have a spare turbo and a box but its an auto pm me ure number and i will give u a buzz) cheers Damo
