awesome thread, I'm just about to undergo this myself and this will be a major help, is it reccomended/must to change bushes etc when u do this?

SK, I'm trying to work out what i need to order (noobie to suspension) I recently noticed my car slightly pulls to the left and on the very very odd occasion sorta pulls to the right, I have only had the car 9 months and the tyres are perfect but still fely i needed F & R wheel alignment to try and find the prob, well the guy i spoke to told me because the car had been lowered (not by me, previous owner) it had affected the camber, (news to me as it only strted happening about a month ago) anyways he told me i would need an adjustable camber kit He pointed to a bolt and said it is non adjustable. previously before this i bought a set of HKS coilovers cause they were a bargin and i already had afeeling my springs were shagged. so i have HKS coilovers to go in but need to sort this problem out. the camber on the LHF is -02.16 and the RHF is -01.47 the LHR is -01.00 and RHR is -01.00 could u please help to sort this out and avise me what to buy in pre for my coilovers and fixing this prob once and for all, any help would be much app, as i am out of my depth here, cheers Damo

went down to the local store and picked up the sellys Epoxy resin 5 minute stuff (full streangh 12-24hrs) and noticed it had a max tep of 93 deg looked over at the same brand in another tube and it states for plastic welding applications with a 148 deg max temp. it did state it could not be used with polypropylene or polyethylene. so im holding off until i get someone else's thoughts cheers, what is the operating temp of the coil packs???

C'mon guys someones gotta know out there, surely someone has the same coloured car or could shed some light on this?? cant do anything about spraying the new bar until this gets sorted!! EDIT; no wunder i was having so many probs KH2 is supposed to be in the R33 paint codes section NOT the R32, problem solved!

how much are u asking for the RB20 pfc hand controller, what cond etc ?

im having problems figuring out whats going on, i looked up the paint code in the engine bay of my R33 and it says KH2, problem is that it is only listed in the R32's? whats going on??? it is a charchol grey colour S1, any thoughts

I have been looking for my paint code on my S1 R33that is a grey (charchol like in colour/) , the origional blue paint on the plate has faded, but above the Rb25DET reads "KH2" just wondering if this is correct for other S1 R33 owners with this colour???

I just removed mine yesterday, pryed them out sorta gently,sorry to hear u busted ures, try one of the car specialist shops---autobarn---metro (in Tas) etc. take one of the un broken ones in so they know what ure on about

thanks for the info man, but if im going to keep going through with mods (which i am) the coil packs are going to need to be replaced anyways eh?

before i went mucking around again with the coil packs again i turned down the boost to 10 psi all was ok until i planted it and resulted in smaller missfire at 3000rpm cleared at 4000rpm--gotta be the coilpacks im thinkin

hi all, I have had a good read of the 7 pages of thread on this topic as my R33 is missfiring between 4000-5000 rpm, I checked the spark plugs and re gapped them down from 1.1 to 0.8 to begin with, I then pulled the coil packs out and checked them for fine carcks- none visible, also no visible grime on the copper-all clean(i think as i only did a quick check)my boost is set at 13, do u think my standard ecu is shitting its self? or there is a cracks in the coil pack? The car goes hard until 4000rpm and sorta hits a dead spot until 5000rpm and will have a missfire, the "flat spot/missfire is not all the time but mostly when laying the foot down, so go back and thouroughly check coil packs and clean the copper in them? thoughts would be appreciated, cheers Damo. p.s I am just getting ready toput a bosch 040 fuel pump and a regulator in then put my pwr fc in and have it tuned am i better off to just say f**** it and buy new coilpacks any way??
