I have a 'CDE-9846E CD / MP3 Receiver' (im sure it shouldnt really matter what model, its this years) in my charade and was wondering what these numbers meant when i was tuning the treb n bass. When you press the treb/bass button you can either turn it up or down, but i also realised when you press the buttons to change the songs ( >> ) is changes another setting, and numbers such as 80 100 120 140 come up. Does anyone have any idea of what this means and how it changes the sound? Cheers

I just upgraded to a AMD duelcore 4600+, but broke the hd cause im a retarted f**k and it wont even get past the mobo startup thing... but im in my last stages of yr12 and wont fix it till im finished (distracts me too much) then i will deffo get vista, make use of my duelcore. OR Fix the comp now and get vista, then i will have no compatible programs to use, so no distraction!

Oh yeah and how much do race days and prac days cost? Do ya cars get damaged much when you drift on a track? becasue i was going to make the R31 a project car to, strip it, paint it, get it lookin niice. Edit: thanks for the initial drift site

Hey, i used to race motocross for 5 or so years, and know that getting into a motorsport usually is expensive. Im not racing anymore and am looking at buying a R31 and doing it up into a drift car, but i have a few questions before i start. I just turned 17, do i need to be 18 to drive on a track? Do i need to have a licence to goto practice days? If so how much does a licence cost? and is there anything else i need to know? cheers

Hey, I'm looking at buying a Nissan gazelle and turning into a drift car, so i can learn to drift and gain more experience with modding cars before i am old enough to buy/drive a skyline. I was wondering if there was any other sort of car that you would recommend for me to look at before i purchase a gazelle, that would make a good/cheap drift/project car. Also, what engine would you recommend i put in it? I chose the gazelle because i heard that ca18det/sr20det can just bolt straight in. (don’t really know much about engines tbh) Heres one i am looking at there aren’t really many around And about how much will it cost me to get it up and running as a drift car, not counting the exterior and interior work. Keep in mind that i am: 17 years old Wont be driving it around town, only on tracks Have an income of about 160 a week Going to put alot of time into it. Also if you know anyone that is selling one tell me Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated

Nah, we live outa town and all my mates live on the other side, near my mums house. I only live here with my dad and he works the same hours as the mechanics but no where near them.

The reason i didnt run my plates for the 2 days was because of all the comotion goin on about the drags, and the police cracking down on P platers, i didnt want to attract any attention to myself. 24 days i go for my P's anywai, shall be good.

Dont have the money for that This is all i wanted to know.. Does anyone here know the penalties of being caught driving on your own when you are on your L's? I have been driving my charade a bit getting it ready for the big trip to the coast.. like driving it to n fro the mechanics and brake guys... I drive without any plates at all, drive sensibly and am in a 83 charade so i dont attract to much attention. Edit: i guess i said that wrong, I WAS driving my car for the past 2 days to get it up and running for a trip to the coast me and my mates are going on. Im not asking becasue i am still driving i was just wonder what risk i took.
