  3. Quicky has it on the head, damage wise shouldnt cause a problem on low boost but ive seen the vl guys running 20psi on there rb30s with no issues.. It does sound "off tap" Omar I looked everywhere for that Pink Unicorn... wtf is it?!
  4. Hey guys Im getting the Cams, Injectors, Z32, Highflow blah blah blah... Now the power fc ive got has the tune with same injectors, cams z32 blah blah blah only difference was running a smaller apexi turbo and is a 4wd stagea.. has an rb25det. I figure I can drive it to be tuned as long as the knock is low ie under 20, from what I was told the tune was on the richer side as it was originally tuned at godzilla in qld heat and tune was asked to be rich.. Now im no expert on power fc but makes sense in my head, I assume the first test is turning over the car and seeing how that goes, and obviously stay well off boost... how do we all feel on the subject then?
  5. Technical info just in, sick dose sound does not come just from metal pipe.. tested and offically makes induction sound louder but not dose.. tightening the bov will tho.
  6. brake cleaner on it .. let it soak clean off with water and detergent.. (degergent removes the brake cleaner and oil and brake cleaner removes the oil. )
  7. turn up the boost more, can you make more than 10psi? Is it going like 10.2 - 10.5 or is it jumping from 10.0 to 11.2 then bak to 10? the second is spiking.. the first is just controlling it

  9. Its your gain mate.. What is it set on? Its difficult to set up originally but put down about 6gain and then dial in 25 on the controller this should net you about 10psi Dial up the boost to where you want it and then turn up the gain and floor it, take note when it starts to spike and turn the gain down.. then your set.. Make sure you've regapped your plugs to 0.8 too cheers

  11. Point taken, street cars arnt driven hard enough.. Lets get the govenment to make a Autobahn Onto another point if you want a Reliable engine, leave it stock .. better yet give it to Nissan OZ to de-tune it, they seem to have this under wraps
  12. pratice makes perfect, you can run a 12 easy in the skyline with good tyures and lots of practice

  14. If the gate came with the turbo (btw how much did the kit cost?) then I doubt its the wastegate as its designed for it. It has to be the bov, get a greddy plumb back then you can adjust how much presure to hold much better option than any gtr bov as its a 10pound spring which youd require a little more. second hand same damn price.

  16. R33 Rb25 yes... Neo NO.. Get them flow tested and check first. this will prevent blowing your engine. Replace all o rings too
  17. Theres a bolt on it mate, losen it and you will be able to use it (lets hope) the tighter it goes the more boost you can hold in.. thats most likely your issue

  20. Evil, The bleed off of boost is prob either due to wastegate (which I assume is external, so shouldnt be) or your BOV which is venting early. GTST ones does, if its aftermarket tighten up the spring and ull prob be right.. Gain would be controlling boost spike and it would be causing the car to jump from 12 to 14 .. you know the deal with spikes... Hope that helps
  21. FYI fuel is from o.s in australia only 15% is shipped here the rest we find on our own. Fuel price is determined by the price on singapore fuel prices, for all the dribble i read about it I could not work out why Petrol companies make a 5c profit on fuel a litre, the rest the government take. So yes the government is ripping us of... Why? to build crapper and crapper roads when they rekon they improve them.
  22. Mentioned it before but regrap the plugs and if youve got det issues its enhanceing the timig thats ok cause safc works well at retarding the timing down low. To answer your question it would not be limiting your cars ability to would be a more aggressive tune compared to stock, the problem might be the tuner too. get someone to check your timing it should be 15 (from memory) and it might be your fuel pump shitting itself. It really could be a million things but in my opinion it will NOT be the ECU. But in saying that a power fc is the best upgrade option atm and I have just bought that, they are shit expensive but bang for buck they are the best increase in power the for sale section has a few for view now. If you want to go faster this is the key!
  23. Ive seen Mr R34 runs 240rwkw with stock turbo too (14 psi) So yeah its like 219.2rwkw or something, most people run 215rwkw or close on the neo with stock pc .. Oh wait ive got safc too. my bad Oh I run 11psi - 13psi depending if its day or night.
