Doubt it, you could try it Im sure it would yield some result but is it really worth the $700 + install. when you have not yet bought a bigger turbo? Dont think so.. wait till you have the Turbo. Oh and while the cams are going in why not do more?! might take longer to save the dosh but you're passengers will thank you for it... oh yeah and my bottom end wont go boom(too soon)

Highflow the standard turbo it will pump out 250rwkw with just injectors, power fc, pump and cooling mods. highflow costs about $2000, you give them yours and ussually straight swap. As its a R34 that might not be the case. GCG, precision turbos are your best options. They use ballbearing internals for faster more reliable boost and im sure you can talk to them about compressor wheels etc. Injectors $1000 Powerfc $1500 Pump $300 Front mount, Boost tap/controller, oil cooler. depends on choice but expect $1500+ n1 turbos are off GTRS, they are small and meant to work in tandum to reach boost quick and hard through the rev range. Not designed for GTT

Hey guys, Soon if all goes well I'll be getting my hands on some poncams, obviously having to rip open the head to install them its open to be polished and ported. Now I know a few people have asked the same question as ive searched and it seems dependent on cost and mods. So, I have everything In my Sig and will be adding the Z32, powerfc, Injectors, Poncams and perhaps a fuel rail, will deff be adding a fuel pump too. I basically wanted to add the cams to bring power all the way to redline with the highflow and hopefully bring boost on early. Also to reduce the stress on the stock bottom end by running less boost. Firstly whats the expected cost to install cams? Secondly I understand Polishing is not advised on a Rb head due to fuel spray issues correct? so porting would be my best option, my main want is to bring boost on early and again reduce impact on stock bottom end (the more I talk about it the more I want to look for a RB30 bottom ) Would porting be advised for my engine? I dont feel a 1500$ race port job would be essential but perhaps just a average port work no more than $500. Is it worth it? I was thinking the best guys to do the cam install and porting would be northen beaches performance as they are quite close to me and also seem reputable/trustworthy (from first inspection when I dropped in) without being rude, does anyone not advise them to do the work? Also I understand my best option is to talk with them, but wanted advice and prices here first. I also would also deff be getting them to install clutch and timing belt too, so it can handle the bigger power from the start. Thanks!

In my mind, The right to say what we believe should be allowed on the forum. If you take a look at Music, Novels and so on every Author or music maker has the right to say what they wish without any problem. I dont see how a forum is any different to this. My mate in his R32 (Rb gun) and my sister n her boyfriend in the m3 were trailing behind, so slowed for them.. then the bumps got the better of me and I had to stop as nature called... Then I chilled out the front with the m3 and rb gun talking shit about our cars shooting random video of passing cars.. and talking crap about how ill get the plates GTR 8TR and the plates alone give me magical 1000kws.. you guys missed out lol

As if this is not the best thread ive ever seen a RED P plater ever post, nice work buddy. All you have to do is get your mates to follow suit and make sure your confidence you get from offroad racing is not seen on the streets. Wakefield is the safest from what Ive heard as the corners are mostly sand trapped and walls are far far away.. just take it easy every 6th lap or so to cool her down and sell be right.. best to get some aftermarket gear like temp sensors isntalled so it does not become a expensive task. Also you'll need a Helmet, Upgraded brakes, and to check all fluids before you head out Drag way is another option WSID!!

I have a awesome video of that R32 slowly idling past me through the nasho bit.. followed by a 31 .. light just bouncing off the paint looked awesome.. That R31 is so pimp spec haha I loved that.. Will post that up soon if i can.. Personally I like Moei's GTR more.. Although I want the Dish on the NUR...
