H@ME.. Try spraying it again when the calipers are cold and not hot.. Either that or dont spray them on a humid or wet day .. Try shaking the can for longer and soaking it in boiling water (dry the can totally as ive dropped water onto the paint once and I had to strip it back - damn perfection crap) Can in the water will make the paint mixture thinner and easier to apply for one.. For your first coat go light, increase in second and heavy in 3rd.. This will allow a shinny base .. then smash it with clear.. All heat proof.. H@ME if you want gold look up the anodisation section for brake caliper .. It will look alot like brembos on 34s.. Paint will look shithouse

I just wrote a post in anodisation of calipers but Ill run it past your guys.. Screw white because it looks shocking.. If you do decide to do it .. get a nail painting brush and apply it. If not when you paint your calipers either file it back when dry.. if you already have them painted then this is best. Or when semi wet (i.e 2 mins after painting) use your thumb wrapped in masking tape to stick onto the nissan sign and pull off at speed.. Watch it come off.. If its not comming off wait for it to dry some more.. Just spray over it with clear as its easier to clean once you do that, hope that helps everyone here

JUST A TIP GUYS I regularly paint my calipers as I like them nice and fresh, I dont use the anodisation system but just heatproof paint, The red in the anodisation is not as nice as just a paint job.. Personal Choice tho. I know most of you are trying to paint your NISSAN sign another colour and truthfully it looks shocking.. People with R32s and R33s have ridges in the NISSAN sign to promote cooling.. This method may not work so well for you but you can scrape out the rest or just have a really neat design in the caliper. When you paint them.. Allow the paint to become semi hard.. About 2 minutes should be nice on a 25-30 degree day.. Grab some masking tape and push your thumb into the non sticky side and use it to remove the paint off the nissan sign.. Press down hard and rip the tape back quick.. Large sections of paint will begin to display a super clean NISSAN SIGN.. R34 calipers will display it best. Hope it helps some of you out.

MY 34 Began misfiring when I installed new plugs, perhaps because the mech played with the coils I dont know.. On idle and light accleration or just on throttle it miss fires like a bitch.. A tune fixed that up alot perhaps that may help. Id say from the results I got from a slight tune it may be tune dependent. However a 1.1mm gap is massive regap the plugs to 0.8 if your going to pump more boost through it. Strange it would be blowing black smoke, as in not burning fuel correctly? Are all the sparks and coils firing?

No seriously check out some of the for sale items Look for something with the following specs 8.5" wide 18" Size + 32 to +36 OFFSET 9.5" wide 18" Size +36 to +34 OFFSET.. If you can get this combo will look nice. Jap rims are way lighter but frigen expensive.. enjoy Width makes it look mean from behind, but for skyline specs the rears can only handle 10" wide wheels, the bigger you go the thinner the width generally has to be unless you like looking like a 4WD (im talking about a offroad 4WD not a GTR) 18" is good looks VRS performance, Aust wheels are heavy as they are not forged. Jap rims are often forged but come with a nice price tag. Please dont get to much bling bling. Offset is how far the wheel will sit out from the wheel hub, for right on the guard your looking at about the specs I entered above. a offset of about +30 on your 9" rim will sit outside the guard. Search forums for more info Goto google and type in Offset calc and it will show you a website which you can calculate your correct offset but like I said .. its above.. And you can also search this forum to find out what others have on their rides. Just so you know whoever you are grinding your guards.. You'll need to paint them asap because it will rust, rust will travel and ur car will start peeling and bubbling the paint.. 1. Will look like SHIT 2. will degrade the car and its value 3. will reduce the structure strength of the vehicle (but you've already achived this) So i Suggest you get a paint pen, some masking tape and mask up your exterior paint and then with the paint pen cover the open metal, Spray will prob work better but it will prob cover your exterior. Seriously get it done.

Oh and to SS, You can buy guards that line up to factory front bumpers but are flared more than GTT guards.. Like the Z tune ones for GTT which are being made, Still waiting if they are finished Thats what Ill be getting as fitting a front GTR bar and side fenders is a painful process. And the eastbear kit is alot nicer
