  2. Sydney, And ive already been recommended a tuner at marrickville from a friend at Nispro in melb. I assume that means use the safc?

Hey guys, Ok I just wrote a Essay and the stupid I.E shut down so here I go again; Ive got a R34 GTT with the following: Trust HG FMIC SBC I.D 3 - Running 10psi - gain 7-8 Safc Neo Full exhaust, split dump, high flow catco, 3.5inch catback and 4" cannon. CAI with apexi Pod Greddy Coilovers type S and sways Now the thing is really built for tight cornering, hard acceleration and Red light launching. My tune all changed that, its spring was cut down after its tune, more top end less accleration pitty really cause thats what I like. Now I figure ive got a few options, Get the Safc re-tuned as it has been tuned in easy mode and the $200 I spent on it being tuned was not worth it, Use pro mode and its 500rpm intervals to give it abit more edge down low? I feel the safc changes are effecting the timing and without a sitc to change ignition im not going to achive the accleration I want. Hook up a nice EMU like the Greddy Emanage and milk out the right tune with optional ignition and injector lead all for the same price as a new safc neo. Which may I add I might have for sale soon. depending on what people advise. Buy a powerfc and go all out, main reason this appeals to me is the knock is shown onscreen and I know im not blowing up my engine. The shit side is that its so expensive and I also dont have a need or want at this period in time to bolt on a bullshit turbo setup. Now to those who had the emu hooked up, how much did it set you back for install and tune? and also to a power fc guys how much am I looking at for a tune? And what do people think I should do to get that, V-TEC YO! feel? Thanks in advance

  5. You dont need to change the headlight, however the headlight gap is enlargened with GTT lights, I mean its a conversion might as well do it correctly

  7. I was under the impression peter himself sold this kit, id use impul skirts and rear with it tho.. alot cleaner. I may look at buying one and shortening it to make it up my drive way
  8. Well when you have a switch like that it ussually is two driving modes, didnt know the 34 came with it but basically tunes the drive down in snow, or off in off, or launch mode if you have that option too. Nothing fancy, most cars ive driven have that feature.

  12. its just a flashed cd reader, not a chipped bios .. different things.. flashed cd reader just allows the reader to read different cds.. a chipped bios will allow a tottally different Os to operate.. But I'd say they'd eventually hunt them down.. but the chippers are going to always one step ahead

  15. Spotted a White R32 GTR looked quite worked and seem to be some sort of promo vehicle plates AM 43 TS standard issue plates At Artarmon turning off onto Pacific Highway Yesterday at about 5:45
  16. Hey mate, You can get them in dremel packs of drill bits.. Would be slightly hard to use on a drill tho and a rotary tool or dremel spins quite quick.. but yeah rotary tools have those sizes.. bunnings in the dremel section

  18. Yeah heaps of people, you can get bolt on kits or fibreglass ones which you'll need custom fitted and painted etc.. flush mounted Dunno where to get them however did seem them for sale recently on the for sale forums
  19. No gtr fenders wont line up like GTT ones.. The require custom mounting.. Im pretty sure they are longer but from what body form told me they require the custom mount so obviously slightly different..

  21. How bout you save up a lil more and buy a 34 GTR.. one for sale on here for $50g I mean if you can blow 30ish on a r34 than whats 20g gunna do? GTR with a few mild mods will kick everythings ass.. just exhaust and it turns into a wild machine
  22. Nope, Your right.. A GTR conversion uses Fenders, Laches, Hinges, Headlights, Front bar and bonnet.. Now if you go OEM your lookin at 5G+ So bonnet OEM 1500-2000 Headlights - $1000 often used Hinges and latches - $150-$200 Front bar - New $ALOT used they are getting cheap seen them go for $500 Fenders - BIG $$$ for OEM, Aftermarket is about $800-$1000 I would assume So whats that .. $4700... It aint cheap is it! Id hunt aftermarket bonnet as it would be cheaper.. but yeah
