Perhaps unless your not using a aftermarket sensor it could be metalic objects contacting another metal object... see if it happens more so over rough road. Just an idea cause it can happen quite easily

So what do people think of this nismo option for the r34 will it be reliable and read boost accurately? Looking at it as a cheap option to replace my stock setup.

Heat soak refers to what happens to the intercooler, i.e when the intercooler cant cool the air enough any more because its aluminum fins are heat soaked with well heat.. typically happens at traffic lights where the car can take on a shitload of heat. The CAI system can also take on this but typically refers to the SMIC.. thats why a FMIC is alot better as the air charge is cooled much more efficently. hence why I bought the screwball thing

Yeah sparks in a untuned car will cause this.. Iridiums regapped from 1.1 to 0.8 I would assume you had. Its actually missfire thats happenin at idle I hate it but live with it. What can you do I'm not going to bother paying for stupid platniums until next time.
