  1. Skylines Australia - Username change requests here Perfect chance to fix up your username typo.
  2. Yeah, but that means buying a full set of nuts - I just want 4 lock nuts - in black. I already have a complete set of nismo wheel nuts. I don't need or want Rays ones. (And the nismo ones act as a 'sorta' lock nut already being 7-sided - on all nuts, not just four). Really, I'm just after extra protection - 7-sided isn't enough in my opinion.
  3. Speaking of wheel nuts, anyone know of quality black locking wheel nuts?
  4. Silver R35 in the Westside Findon Shopping Centre carpark at around 6:30pm tonight, then a blue v35 sedan on Woodville Rd maybe 20 minutes later. Damn I can never take my eyes off every R35 I see in the flesh ..
  5. FUUUUUUUUUUUU- ... I just keep buying car parts! I don't know what's got into me in the last few weeks, with my car having been off the road for the last 4.5 months. I honestly think I'm losing it! The current list of parts purchased (here or in transit): nismo 480cc injectors nismo timing belt nismo wheel nuts nismo lmgt4 center-caps nismo solid shifter nismo 300kph cluster HEL Oil cooler w/integrated thermostat Whiteline front & rear swaybars ISC 52mm radiator On a flip side, at least a lot of stuff I've been holding off for or planning for the last 4.5 years are finally starting to come together .. Now I just need those injectors fitted, the nistune tuned ... oooh .. and then I can start contemplating a high-flow .. arghhh .. it never stops!
  6. I have some R34 4-door side skirts (I believe they're fibreglass not plastic) in Sydney at a mates house - he picked them up from a 'local pick-up only' eBay auction a few years ago for me. Been sitting in his garage since because I never got around to couriering them. Thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/373325-r34-sedan-sideskirts/
  7. Particular N/A models had no rear swaybar, no - pretty crazy. I've just ordered my '34 ones from CarTorque here in SA anyway...
  8. Have a chat to Auto Perfection. They're very familiar with skylines, and a sponsor of SAU:SA. Their details are: 281 Main North Road Enfield SA 5085 (08) 8342 6644 Alternatively, ask in the SA section of the forums for more suggestions.
  9. What ever happened with the whole Whiteline vs Selby vs Signature (Signature was apparently the original Selby creators..) thing anyway? Selby's website is down, and they seem to have dropped off the face of the planet. Last I'd heard (12 months ago), Selby had moved into Whiteline's old premises, Selby was .au made and Whiteline manufacturing had been moved overseas (with an associated drop in quality). But now - Selby seems dead! So are whiteline still at their old quality levels or was it a complete myth? I'm in the market for a set of R34 whiteline swaybars right now, and I'm just concerned with the whole Selby/Whiteline/etc situation
  10. ... that's what SHE said.
  11. I have an RB Gates Timing belt here, still in it's original packaging for sale. Bought it earlier in the year, selling this as I've grabbed a nismo belt instead. These typically retail for $100+, I'm offering $80 .. kinda looks like:
  12. It's a Cisco 7970 - I'm a sysadmin/netadmin/programmer. I have an Asterisk virtual server here, multiple VOIP lines coming in, etc.
  13. Never quite understood the whole bling-your-case thing with clear side-panels, neons, and glowing fans - basically stuff that serves no purpose besides appearance (not that it even looks good..) I guess it just reminds me of the whole Fast'n'Furious ricer thing. Can anyone explain it? I honestly don't get it All my PCs are flat black, no clear-side panels, basically all that show are a glowing power LED and maybe some USB ports. Simple, functional:
  14. Apparently - at least according to the nissan silvia thread - the points werent passed on to SA Transport, so the points weren't accrued - hence the problem. There are stories there of people who called up saying 'hey, shouldn't I be disqualified' and being told no.
  15. I was contemplating the same thing a few months back - do it with a glass top like on Top Gear - could be sweet
  16. Have you tried GCG? Looking at their website, something like: Greddy Oil Filter Adaptor Block 3/4x16UNF Standard Type Should work? Try emailing GCG anyway, I did when I was looking around for oil cooler options.
  17. ... great. sign me up now. *groan*

    R34 Parts

Got the three gauge cluster and surround in my thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/375861-sa-various-r34-parts/ I'm in Adelaide however, and it does not come with the loom. I suspect you'll probably have difficulty sourcing this, you'll probably need to source this from Nissan.
  19. I heard something on the radio about 9 out of 10 families better off under Carbon tax.. I punch in figures on the carbon tax website. I'm worse off by a little under $600/year. Fail.
  20. When sorting through stuff in my garage, I found the turbotech boost controller I buoght many years ago. It looks exactly like this: I believe they still sell for $30+ on eBay. There are threads on this forum about how great they are, and they're much better than a regular bleed valve. Anyways - I'll let it go for $20
  21. gear surround is now sold. I also have a Gates timing belt I bought earlier in the year for my car prior to it's accident. These usually sell for $100+. This is brand new, never used, original box - $70 + P&H
  22. ? Not what I've heard - just need the right software or something? Keep in mind the R34 uses a digital speedo.
  23. I'm thinking about sourcing a nismo cluster for my '34 - but I'd like the km to match old to new. Anyone know of an instrument or auto-elec place in Adelaide with experience doing that on R34's?
  24. Options for R34 sedan have historically sucked. Stuff on Yahoo Auctions, and various Japanese sites, but once you add shipping it becomes stupid money ($12-1500+) .. If there are cheaper options out there, I'd love to hear it?
