  1. http://nistune.com/docs/Z32_ECU_Modifications_Direct_R33_Plugin%20V6.pdf says: Have these guidelines been adhered to?
  2. Woo. Mine just arrived. Looks nice, all the guys in the office were admiring it - hah Wonder if you can get black braided lines to give it the ultimate stealth look .. Question - are you only supposed to get one mounting bracket (original picture showed more)? I'm guessing that's enough, anyway?
  3. As above - did I miss a post? What happened.
  4. Did I miss a post, what happened? Hope everything goes okay. Car accidents are horrible
  5. I guess I can ask my friend in Sydney whether he's able to bubble-wrap them up and get an idea on postage, but I don't imagine it would be cheap. Easiest would definitely be a buyer in Sydney able to pick it up, I think. I can't easily organise anything from SA.
  6. Mine says: Aug 8, 2011 1:13 AM -- In transit -- ALEXANDRIA AU Aug 7, 2011 9:32 PM -- International shipment release -- ALEXANDRIA AU Aug 7, 2011 9:32 PM -- In transit -- ALEXANDRIA AU (Package available for clearance) ... maybe it'll get here (Adelaide) tomorrow? ... Just wish I had the car to fit it to - Four Months since my accident, and it's still being repaired .. *sigh*
  7. First is rear-passenger cupholders. Second - not sure - not enough plugs for HICAS, I think - could it be plug for factory speaker wiring?
  8. I have a set of R34 sedan sideskirts in Sydney. I'm not in Sydney, however I bought these over the internet on eBay and had a friend of mine in Sydney pick them up. In-between getting organising shipping, I managed to pick up another set locally. So - these are now useless to me. Based on the pictures I've seen, they seem to be in reasonable condition. The seller didn't indicate whether they were real or fibreglass, so I don't know. They're silver in color (I believe KV2), but they will likely need a respray. I'm looking for around $150 - what I paid for them - but I'm open to offers.
  9. ... one of the reasons I went nismo fuel pump. Plug and play, no messing around.
  10. I fitted an R32 turbo actuator to my '34. Nice stable 10psi.
  11. I don't mean to sound offensive, but I'm confused how this is possible - at least without bumping up the factory fuel pressure. To understand my logic -- stock R33 injectors are only 370cc, and a bit of math would suggest on regular 98 you'd need 400cc+ to support 250rwkw? Typically on our motors the 'cc' value is a good indicator of how many hp are possible at the fly on 98. 370cc = 370hp = 276kw ... with driveline losses, maybe 220-230rwkw - which is what's consistent with what I've seen people on the dyno threads indicate was about the limit of the stock injectors?
  12. Eyebrow height is the one point, but there are others, like "the distance between any part of the vehicle and the ground is not less than 100mm." It should all be documented in the following: http://www.transport.sa.gov.au/pdfs/personal_transport/light_vehicles_pdfs/MR1136_Requirements_for_Lowering_or_Raising_Vehicle_Ride_Height.PDF http://www.transport.sa.gov.au/pdfs/personal_transport/light_vehicles_pdfs/fact_sheet_track_suspen.pdf Anyway, familiarise with the above, and call Regency Park - you may even get a straight answer.
  13. 100% agreement on fail with regards superhighway, trams, oval etc .. Stupid government is stupid. Edit: GIVE US A MOTORSPORTS COMPLEX, damnit!
  14. I've been in that carpark pretty much daily for the past 6 years. I've seen some of the worst parking in my life there. I try and not park near people if I can help it. Half the cars are parked across lines, at angles, and other nonsense. It seems worse on particular days of the week too. Think it must be pension day or something ..
  15. I always see a grey R33 GTR with lots of nismo badges in the Findon shopping center carpark. Has vented front-guards and the rims don't quite match up with the guards, but otherwise seems fairly tidy. Guessing someone on here?
  16. It wouldn't have passed compliance with them in. That's kinda the point. However, many shops will put them back in after compliance, or just pass with and pretend they converted them. Certainly my compliance papers for my car say they were converted - they sure weren't - and I've been defected for it. The OEM HID in skylines is supposed to be converted to regular globes at compliance time. The OEM options do not meet ADR requirements.
  17. I didn't think these were supported, so I checked their website (http://nistune.com/equipment-products-type2.php): So yeah - R32 ECU if you don't want VCT, or Z32 ECU if you do.
  18. I recently found out I was vitamin D deficient. After taking very large vitamin d supplements, I've noticed my sleep has improved dramatically. Might be worth looking into as well?
  19. Yeah, you'd think all the people would learn from the others getting their cars stolen and ensure they had insurance, car alarms, kill-switches, etc .. and yet we still see cars getting stolen without 'em .. Guess that old adage about 'live and learn' isn't so true afterall .. (And yes, I recognise cars can still get stolen with the above measures in-place, and if the thieves want the car bad enough they'll get it. But hey, when there are so many options for the thieves where the owners don't bother? ..)
  20. Dajae, You can buy the nismo logos (both genuine and imitation) for the LMGT4 - it really shouldn't hold you back.
  21. Be very careful with getting a touchscreen overlay - this is the reason I haven't used my R34 MFD screen with an overlay. The MFD is sunlight readable and very clear - if you add the wrong sort of overlay (and most will fall into this category), you'll destroy the sunlight readability. Edit: Chris Rogers might be able to offer some useful advice here.
  22. What are you using for the touchscreen?
  23. I have two, but one of them is with Blazk/Tobias at the mo ..
  24. Not enough for what it cost to build, I'd wager ..
  25. My car (r34) came with metal spacers on the front and rear plates for exactly this reason .. works nice.
