Yeah those look pretty bad - though I've seen worse (check out some of the r33s on the road!) Anyways, you can polish them up with various products - I've tried just about everything from plastx to toothpaste to brasso. I recently used one called 'glassylite': http://www.glassylite.net.au/ which was supposed to have a UV sealant and stop the clouding happening again. Guess we'll see if it works! For cars manufacturerd prior to July 2006, ADRs were + or - 10% accuracy on speedometers at speeds above 40kph. However, after July 2006, the ADR was changed - it's pretty complicated, but you can read it all at the link below: http://rvcs-prodweb.dot.gov.au/files/ADR%201803.pdf Essentially under the new ADRs, you cannot have under-reading (as described above), only over-reading - so yeah, it'll always display a higher speed than you're actually doing. Either way, the new ADR does not apply to most of the car owners on SAU as our cars were manufactured prior to 2006.

If you're talking major major (timing belt) surprised you haven't listed plugs too .. (probably couldn't hurt to give the coils a clean too - and what do many people do - spray with silicone or something?)

But that's an RB20DET with an R32 turbo, no? Where-as your car is an RB25DET with an R33 turbo - you're not really comparing apples here.

I'm honestly stunned a tuner (and really, anyone who uses a dyno) would even bothering to use the 'predicted horsepower' feature given how inherently inaccurate it's going to be ... it's just going to confuse the owner, really. (But hey it gives a higher figure for the warm fuzzies, right?)

I can imagine you'd have a number of issues with a USB SCSI converter - both in terms of performance (depending, USB2 will max out at between 30-60MB/s) , and in all likelihood the tape drive will require LVD SCSI (most tape drives do) - which I don't think you're going to find a USB SCSI converter supporting (or at least at a reasonable cost) What sort of server is it? Reasonably recent? PCI/PCI-X/PCIe? And yeah - Plain ol' SCSI is just about dead really - SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) is pretty much what everything server-grade comes with these days.

So did you stop? Should be fairly straight forward to fight, especially if you've got a good driving record. I've heard the argument used in court before about throwing a coin up in the air - the point where it hits the top might not be considered 'stopping', but it is.

I'd be more worried about how long that standard turbo is gonna last at 14psi .. (Sidenote - how do you know what power you have at the 'clutch'?)

Heh - as you found out, the only real way around it is multiple connections (cos whilst each single is limited by the latency, by establishing multiple connections you overcome that).
