heh 800cc would flow 800hp at the flywheel .. from an RB25DE .. mmmm yeah. To be honest, I'm not sure why the OP is bothering. Ultimately, he's going to end up with a car that's going to be an engineering hassle, from what I understand in most states modified P-plate cars aren't legal, he hasn't considered other upgrades like clutch, brakes or suspension... At the end of the day, he's better off holding onto his cash, and waiting to buy a turbo that will be able to get more power for less financial outlay. Building a fast/high-revving NA is fun, sure - don't get me wrong - but it's not cheap, and you compromise the reliability of the engine from having to rev it to get the power. Ultimately you're going to get a better performance result for less money and have a more reliable motor from forced induction .. Additionally, by buying a turbo car outright, you already have bigger brakes, an engine designed to handle more power, etc ...

I have a Cooling Pro intercooler for sale. I bought it from JustJap when I bought the car in Sydney over 3 years ago, and it's since sat in my garage. I believe these fit both R32, R33 & R34. It's literally still in it's original boxing with the aluminium piping, core, clamps, silicon connectors, etc there. JustJap pic: My pics: I've since purchased another intercooler, so I definitely have no use for this. I'd like $320 for it, but I'm open to negotiations. Drop me a PM on here if you're interested.

Did All R34 Gt-t's Come With The Triple Gauge Cluster?
jrm replied to V28VX37's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I thought they did have the option for the navigation system on the R34 GT-T instead of the 3-gauge cluster.... this is the pop-up screen that sits in the same spot. In this situation, the navi unit sits where the climate control is normally, and the climate control gets moved down into a din spot. Is it possible the flat cover is just the pop-up screen that's not popping up (ie: broken). Should be able to tell if it has a navi unit where the climate control unit is normally... -
Nismo 480cc Injectors And Er34 370cc Injectors
jrm replied to 8110's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
The difference is - these have been used for approximately 2 weeks (not really very 'second hand), and they're nismo with their 4 hole spray pattern. Other injector manufacturers don't have the same spray pattern or resulting fuel atomisation, which sets these apart. Basically, they're a good upgrade for a mildly modified R34 and should be capable to handle up to 280-290rwkw before running out of flow. -
Damn you both. My garden salad with chicken pieces is looking decidedly boring now

The '8000k' measurement isnt about brightness, it's about the color of the light. 8000K is basically purple. If you want to avoid the attention of police, etc - I'd stick with 4300K. You'll also find as the kelvin gets higher, your headlights will be producing less useful (visible) light. So at 8000K you'll have less useful headlights than ones producing 4300K. If the headlight in the GTR is the same as the GTT, and this is factory HID - you'll be looking for DR2 bulb types.

I deleted mine a few weeks ago; It's a time-waster with lax security/privacy settings... Hrmmmm .. $150 seems cheap; I got a nistune put in my ECU months ago from the groupbuy, still haven't had it tuned. Anything to get a bit more power and fuel economy would be awesome... especially at that sorta money...

Odd, sunroof on my other car (N14SSS) has tint on it - had it replaced when I had the rest of the car re-tinted a few years ago.

Slow R33 Intercooler Install (in Progress)
jrm replied to Birnie's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Wow, 2006 thread revival or what .. -
As someone who's basically had nothing to do with their family in over a decade, I disagree. They've made no real effort to keep in touch since my parents kicked me out, why would I bother trying to keep in touch with them. My friends are my family, and they've stuck with me more than any of my 'real' family has.

I'm interested on my front windows, but I'm worried about making it darker than legal; When the cop last checked my tint, it apparently registered 70% on the front windows which I didn't even know were tinted... So if I put 35% tint on there it would be darker than legal.. :S Maybe I should drive around the corner to Ric (I live less than a km from Auto Perfection) and see if he can check the windows and whether he has any thoughts on how to proceed..

Are GTR plenums going to work on a non-GTR? GTR are individual throttle body arent they? Sorry if I'm guessnig wrong but if this is a road car, aren't these mods gonna turn the car into defect central?

Gtr And Other Skyline Parts
jrm replied to GDZ-14R's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Do you have the intake temperature sensor from the R34 GTR intercooler? -
I use a yellow top in my R34 GT-T - love it. The car sounded so much more positive on crank-over from cold than compared with the original japanese battery it was imported with ..

Hope nobody ends up using the mob who Shannons recommended, and who I tool the car to (for the damage at the start of this thread)... They took longer than they said they would, kept ringing me up to push expectations back, and once I did finally get it whilst the bumper repair was good, the new bonnet looked great, and even the repair of the mounts of the headlight looks surprisingly factory - the silver color just doesnt match to my satisfaction. In certain lights, you can tell it's been repaired. For an accident that wasn't my fault, I feel pretty hard done by to end up with a car that wasn't repaired 'right'. On top of that, the paintwork on the bumper was very easily damaged from stone chips from a single trip to Melbourne - which never occured over literally tens of trips to Melbourne and Sydney with the factory paintwork... Despite weeks of back and forth with Shannons and the repairer, they both refused to do anything about it. Shannons sent a guy out to inspect it at least, but the repairer pretty much just laughed at me. Ahhh well. I'll probably end up getting it resprayed at my expense when I get some bodykit parts fitted.

I'm guessing it's just one of these? http://www.nengun.com/blitz/radiator-cap Doesn't seem like it'd be anything special or indicatore any special mods to the rest of the car? It's just a radiator cap... I have a nismo radiator cap on mine ...

Alternatively, you could get the flip-up for navigation version of the middle dash piece here, take out the display and glue it down.. Then mount whatever gauges you wanted on top... probably easier than using the N/A version ..

I've always liked the guard vents and NACA ducts in the bonnet on the R35 - that pic shows them off well ..

Did you have any luck on getting prices on those sensors I PM'd you about? Jenna

Hey I think I saw the same guy on South rd closer to Henley Beach Rd intersection - red R34, passenger-side headlight out ..

From what I understand, the extra fuel ends up 'cooling' the combustion (like smothering the combustion). The reduction in heat in the combustion then results in less likely to cause detonation, etc. That's how I've always understood it anyway - feel free to correct

I'm confused how you think pieces from the clutch would get inside the engine / oil system?
