Yeah, I have the non-smoked nismo indicators on the front/side on my R34. To be honest the side indicators didn't look as neat (only three LEDs, I reckon it would look quite stupid in the daytime). However, the front indicators were basically a big cluster of orange LEDs: Sides: Fronts: You are right though - I'm not sure if you'd notice a difference. But if you're going to LED everything else ... I'm contemplating grabbing ripping apart my tail lights and seeing how difficult it would be to do. A second-hand set of tail lights isn't that expensive to give me some piece of mind if i were to attack it anyway. One difficulty I have is that I wouldn't even be sure where I would source LEDs and some of the yahoo auction pages mention relays and other nonsense. Wonder what 666DAN has to say ...

I'm starting to regret typing in 'r34 led' on the yahoo auctions ... LED side indicators .. LED front indicators .. R34 Sedan LED tail lights (including the indicators / reverse lights) I swear if someone did complete LED conversion then added in those sexy audi-style LEDs in the headlights .. it would look a totally different car - and sex on wheels.

Do you have other parts for this car available? I'm trying to track down the plastic trim piece on the drivers side that sits under the steering wheel (has the coin holder, TCS button, etc in it).

Cooler Setups That Need No Holes Cut Etc

I seem to recall that the JustJap kit still requires you to trim the reo to fit - which can void your insurance in an accident or result in a defect (if they catch it). -
Tint, Whats Legal? And What Looks The Best?
jrm replied to Nick.'s topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
A transmission level of 70% is the requirement on drivers / passenger windows in South Australia (but you can have 35% behind the driver) - SA Transport - Tint Legalities. So yeah, as you can see this stuff really is very state-based. My reading of that page from Vic suggests that 35% may be legal, but it's recommended to be 70% transmittance. -
screenshot and any options on ER34011554 thanks

My car was in a small accident on Fullarton Rd yesterday morning when an elderly lady driving an automatic Toyota Seca Hatchback pulled into oncoming traffic leaving little room for me to come to a complete halt before hitting her in the front quarter panel. This has left the front bumper in poor condition and the bonnet is bent, so I'm guessing both will need to be replaced. Now obviously the accident is her fault, and my insurance company (Shannons) has been really good when I lodged the claim with them yesterday afternoon. I asked the insurance company regarding different repairers, and they (of course) recommended I go with the one they suggest, as (in their words) would have 'dealt with a lot of nissan skylines, we insure a lot of those'. Anyways, I got a call from 'Port Adelaide Smash Repair' this morning, asking me to book in for a quote on repairs - so I'm guessing that's the company that'll be doing the repairs. I'm guessing I can't exactly ask in public for opinions surrounding a particular repairer, but as this is my first time having a car I own repaired under insurance, I'm a bit hesitant about how to approach any of this - and the last thing I want is for my pride and joy to be repaired in a sub-standard manner. As Shannons do give me the option to use my own repairer as well, does anyone have any recommendations for someone else I might take my car to for a quote / repair or could message me war stories around 'Port Adelaide Smash Repair' if they've heard of or dealt with them? As a complete aside - I have no idea how crash repair companies go about sourcing for replacement or repairing parts. Are they more likely to repair the bonnet/bumper? I also can't imagine they're going to source brand new parts from Nissan - so am I going to end up with a wreckers second-hand parts on my car, re-sprayed to match my vehicle? I know I sound pretty noob about all of this - and with regards to smash repair I am - so any information / thoughts you have about how I should approach any of this - feel free to share

You should find that the M2-ATX has a remote-power on for amps so that they wont power up the amps until the computer is on (which should miss the 'pop' from the sound card initializing). It was documented in the one sheet 'manual' for mine. *google* .. Try here .. Good luck!

erm isnt that like 14psi / 1 bar .. so if you're not hitting boost cut / R&R you're gonna be waving goodbye to the turbo soon?

Whilst the cruise itself was way too short and had a bad route that went through many towns, it was good to see how many nice skylines that turned out prior to the cruise. Was awesome to see so many GTRs in one place, especially R34s, and DSTROY looked as nice in person as in the pics i've seen.

I've been meaning to investigate a product called '3M Vikuiti' which apparently is a stick-on for LCDs to help issues with glare/etc in the sun - something I need desperately for my screen

R32 Gtr 2nd Gear Slow Down Clunk? What The
jrm replied to DS-ZILR's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
First thought to me - engine mount? They can make some weird clunk / thunk noises under acceleration / braking because of the engine moving more than they should (Have had that on cars I've owned before ... ) -
That's a crazy low interest rate ..

I'm sure I'm not wrong in suggesting a NA car will get vacuum when idling/light throttle and go up to 0psi (and no further unless there is some ram-air pressure from the intake system) under WOT...

Saw a silver R33 with hazard lights on and bonnet up on Main North Rd near Radio Rentals this afternoon - but oddly, couldn't see a driver or anyone in sight around the car ..

Weird - maximum I've gotten at Hostworks was about 70mbps on speedtest.net .. That said, it does seem to depend on the time of day which suggests it may be a limitation of the testing server rather than Hostworks' connectivity though ... I would be also be very careful of your friend advertising he 'whores torrents' on this server

Parked at Subway on Main North rd next to a silver R33 with what looked like a very dirty hello-kitty hanging from the rear tow-hook .. car looked nice and clean though

Happens to me too randomly; no idea why... I thought it might be something to do with my power window motor (which used to be on the way out), but that's since been replaced and it still does it. If you figure it out, i'll be happy .. lol!
