  1. Heh, found out the exhaust I was after was stainless steel after all, not titanium Can close this topic now, thanks.
  2. Heres a pic of the $35 ebay one installed in my car
  3. I wasn't meaning DB levels lol, couldn't care less about that cause I'd be keeping the stock exhaust anyway. What I was referring to was buying a second hand one in good nic with no dents or holes, worth the risk?
  4. Well the one I was looking at is a full titanium system (not just muffler & no cat, i know).. Safe/unsafe?
  5. Someone very knowledgeable told me titanium exhausts aren't the go for street cars due to cracking and they are suited to track cars. He also told me stainless steel is best for street cars. Can someone confirm? Cheers.
  6. ^ Yeah but then the cops are going to have a sticker fest with the amount of people driving off with bald rears... o.O
  7. I got a strut in there so its hard to have a proper look but from what I can see from outside, the covers are lifting from the parcel shelf and I can see that there is a gap between the speaker and the mount. (Bring to audio shop?) Definitely not distortion cause the music is crisp clear, just the heavy crackling... However when its on, it comes from the rear speakers, when the volume is really up there it goes mad through the roof? Cheers..
  8. To do that don't I have to take the rear seats out to get to the parcel shelf? I haven't done any of this before. It came with the car...
  9. Hi, my car has sony speakers everywhere and a sony headunit which sound decent for what they are. Now my issue is when I turn the volume up I hear like what sound like crap wiring/crackling static sound from the parcel shelf speakers, more so the passenger side one. When I turn the volume up even higher I get a huge crackling sound through the roof. The music plays as per normal and sounds good just a huge noise when base comes on and generally when volume is louder. (no amp/sub, just speakers, and tweeters) What can I do before I have to resort to taking it to an audio shop? Cheers.
  10. Oh yeah, almost forgot. This thread should assist you http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/bu...e-f-t35129.html
  11. Fuel economy all depends on how you drive, services etc... All being well and babying it, 400-500km/tank? - possibly more basing this on my car which is more thirsty.. I got 400km from the tank, no gear changes above 4k lol. (R34 owners shed some light?) You'd want the timing belt to have been done with those kms too... Getting that done on my car is costing me 1.2k
  12. link, pics? EDIT: dw found it.. http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/dealer...9&silo=1011 Looks like TE37s, a factory nismo kit, catback and has had the shopping trolley spoiler replaced.

  15. I had some guy test drive my old R32 GTS4T. He took it to about 160-170 in a 70 zone and he scared teh shit out of me when he flored the brakes. (stopped insanely well) He wasn't some young guy either.. Never heard from him after that.
  16. +1, I just installed a set yesterday and the fit is incredible! Recommended for sure
  17. I suppose I'm in the middle, R33.4GTR My car came like this:
  18. Lol, when I first discovered them thru sis, I had 3 packets 1 go... was just so good!
  19. ^ IMO clear lights look fine, its something different. Heres 2 bad quality phone pics that I took and then used the crappy phone picture editor on them.
  20. Got pics of the other exhausts? Post to perth?
