Lol. My GTR passed the pits and its well modded. But mostly depends on how the inspector is feeling... Hell, mine even had a lit hicas light (lock bar), holes in the bonnet & boot...
Make sure its not loud and make it look like you've made an effort to make it legal. (Talk to the guy, explain this that etc)

Def get absolutely everything inspected.
Even if engine goes pop, its 8 to 10k to rebuild at a performance place and you know you've got a R34 GTR Vspec running mint.
Make sure you run the vin too to check original colour and revs check it.
Redline lightweight shockproof gearbox oil.
Get some off Harold from PerformanceHub on eBay.
Mate had exact same problem, the above fixed his.
Not cheap, approx 120ish?? for the oil, but definitely worth it, don't skimp on cheap shit.
