Where's the best place around Brisbane for Federals?

Any idea how long it'll be till the next one? Maybe i should go so i can do a stock suspension vs bilstein test...

I did it yesterday. Braided lines, new fluid, pads and rotors. It took a fair while but wasn’t that hard. I got most of the old fluid out of the master cylinder with a syringe, and then filled it up with the new stuff. The old fluid was dark green and the new stuff was very close to yellow. So I just bled (RL, RR, FL, FR) until the yellow fluid came through. Brakes feel good now. Thanks for everyone’s help.

When disconnecting the brake lines, I'm guessing a lot of the fluid will pour out. Is the trick to just disconnect them, put on the new one quickly and then bleed them till all the air is out and the new fluid comes through? PS. Was quoted $265 to do this... (pads, rotors, fluid and lines) 3 hours labor.

I am about to change to braided lines, new pads and rotors. Do I do the same bleeding procedure until the new fluid comes through? Do you have to do anything differently with ABS systems?

Hah, thats an expensive way to fix a slow leak. My rear left does it too... damn nail. I'll be in for next week. Possibly +1 but she is undecided / doesnt know.

I'm not too sure about a jolly's spin on a thursday night. Last time I went up there on a thursday I was followed by popo. Maybe tuesday or wednesday nights instead? I think meeting at a food joint first is a good idea.

Yeah i saw a couple around. I went through a road block at springwood where they had a WRX and another car with their bonnets up.
