you cant go past an aftermarket ECU and tune for fuel economy and a little more power. Plus once you have this, every mod you do after can be tuned in through the after market ECU. I'm sure people will suggest other options but thats my 2c.

did ring obrians today.... turns out they dont have any s1 screens left in oz and they asked for my VIN number so they could get it in from nissan.... does this mean im gonna be up for a grand?

not good champ, i had a similar problem fixed it with a unsecured personal loan from westpac. they gave me the cash and then i went and found a car within my limit. then payed out the car loan with a home loan lol.... now i own the car! u'll find a bank will be more then willing to help you if you're already a customer, and they can see all of your info infront of them.

again hold off for a while find your self a second hand ECU and get it tuned on the dyno for your car (i recomend emanage ultimate over emanage blue as you might find it hard to find a tuner). im not going to bull sh!t you its going to cost a bit but it will be well worth it. i got my emanage ultimate second hand for +-$600 or so i cant remember but it came with all the harnesses. i had it installed and tuned for another $500. when you add up the costs of fuel pumps,regs,apexi SAFC,SITC,silicone spray,coilpacks,plugs etc etc you would have probly spent all of that or pretty close to already. I'm tired of the dints in my car.... 1. dint from a bottle from an idiot at the lights 2. dinted front quater from a wooden pallet that fell over in the wind 3. small dint from before i had the car my clear on my bonnet is also pealing from stone chips it looks terrible. i could probly take it into a few people that are quite good but also believe "you get what you pay for " lol and i just cant be F^(|<3D paying that much but i do need to do something about it. any one who knows a guy who knows a guy feel free to post on here or just PM me any info that leads me to getting the job done will be paid for with a slab im sure someone will enjoy my beer currency! Greddy emanage Ultimate (im bias lol, but any after market ecu will do) chuck it on the dyno get it retuned for your mods.... presto problem solved. People waist alot of time and money and tempory fixes but something i have learned with my car is any mod you do to enhance performace (+- fuel, air, timing) while using the stock ECU will often cause you grief unless retuned properly. I stress this is only my opinion and will probly have alot of people who disagree!
