  1. hey Paul, I run the fuel daily and find i'm useing around 18 litres per 100 vs 14 on pulp, we had a e85 shortage for 2 weeks and had too use pulp and i just let the o2 sensor trim it, ran fine, couldnt be bothered changeing maps knowing e85 would be available next day or so but turned into 2 weeks bloody bloody servo!
  2. no probs, you won't gain much more up top as i think the .68 would be close to max but you could gain more midrange pushing more psi into it.
  3. good result, how much timing did you settle on at full load and what afr?
  4. did you compare the torque, I think if your going to give it hard time e85 woulda been a far safer (cooler) fuel to run! even at 90% inj duty. what is the motive to run higher rwkw? dyno?
  5. Hey Michael good to see someone else useing it! I've used it daily for around 8 months, love the stuff, idle is smoother foresure! few weeks ago my tomei pump was leaning out when it was hot so i changed it for a 044, the filter sock on the tomei was pretty blocked, it looked like rubber, wasnt slimey, i didnt use the right hose from the top of the pump to the lid of tank and it was loseing it's outa cover, I dont think that helped but i'm sure the pump died from running too much base pressure (46-48) then stuffing in 24+ psi on top! I too read it cleans tank but an even bigger concern i think is its cleaning the servo tanks. I changed my fuel filter after 6 months use and it wasnt blocked, far from it.
  6. Not sure how current it is today but still worth a look ifqc_report.pdf
  7. I rang the guy asked that very question and his reply was it really depends on the engine, and is too hard to give a general rule, his example was nissan use to run there race engines around lambda at 700 odd hp just to stretch fuel stops! he added .85 is good ballpark but every setup is different. from my experience you can run it .75 and stills pulls hard so if safety margin and cooler charge is what your after .80 is ok. when my tomei pump died it was leaning out to lambda and was only slightly down on torque, didnt knock, glad i put wideband in to check it!!
  8. the king of BS threads schrunch or fold, you decide, oh wait you cant decide, maybe do a poll!
  9. Matt I just swtiched over to a internal 044 from a tomei pump and have clawed back about 20% duty on my 740's! hitting 80% now. I have a .73 Avo housing on my gt3076 and that felt a little laggy on 98 would just drop into lag in second, once tuned to e85 it disapeared! how much timeing did you add, i add about 8-10 degrees on the ramp and about 4-5 at full power, you would gain a little power bringing the afr back to .85, a local well known tuner who's done alot of testing told me you dont lose torque until you get leaner than .90, I'll be at graham west with Lee so will look out for you!
  10. good stuff matt does the microtech tell you how much injector your useing? also what afr did you tune it to? I like to keep between .80 and .85 at full power!
  11. Hey Matt dont keep us waiting whats the story? I had no issue's last winter with fouling plugs and that was running 8's, the only thing I do when it gets cold is add fuel to the cranking just to help it fire!
  12. Greddy_Profec_B_manual.pdf
  13. Hi Pete almost the same as my setup except i run a 4870 vid card and asus m/board i've had the 9550 running 3.0 ghz on air cooler for 6 months and it is magic! I would go for a coolermaster tru power psu that has 5 year warranty
  14. Ok last few pics where a little large! that red clubman is everyones favourite salesman from redline but to his credit that machine was pretty awesome, shoulda heard the sound the engine made (hiabusa) nearly wet myself!
  15. will need to unplug coil packs to remove them, and if it's a leaking injector fuel should come out from the spark plug holes, had this happen to fellow members car not long ago, was a cracked o-ring have your injectors been touched at all?
  16. take all the plugs out, unplug injector loom and crank the motor, if it's an o-ring you'll soon know!
  17. gotta keep the dream alive!! the latest rumour i heard was mr Russo was sick of the gov not playing ball and is about to splash some cash and buy the land, let us pray together!!
  18. Looks like we wont get to see this (edited since no names are mentioned) team racing when Adelaide gets a new track! http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/news/queen...3423209335.html
  19. I need some r33 gtst castor arms not too fussed about condition ( will fit new bushes ) aslong as there straight! will consider swap for some kazama pillow ball arms if yours have new or near new bushes fitted!
  20. whats it run like with the gtr fc fitted? madaz told me it wasnt idleing properly did you try diffrent lag timeing?
  21. not to mention a std air box his injectors are maxed out tho, he should think about an upgrade, i suggested sard 850's would give some nice headroom, my 740's have a little more left in them but it suprises me how similar the settings are between the 555's and the 740's, I wonder if there really that different??????
  22. Cant read it man, try this one
  23. Nothing was touched as far as tune or boost concerned so i guess it's a dyno thing and hotter air temp making boost a bit slower
  24. Lee's fitted a decat pipe and gave it another run
