  1. I dont want to get into a debate here, but will say this, I dont like how the yanks make e85 with corn crops, thats just wrong, I do like how csr use a by product. I cant argue about the soot as I havnt researched that, I would be suprised if there were any elements worse that unleaded, Unleaded is a disgusting fuel! one bonus about running E85 is it burns cleaner and doesnt leave the rear of my car dirty, unlike 90% skylines around. Check out Guiltoys e85 thread, he took his car in for emision tests in NSW and passed easily, running 330+ Rwkw from memory. As for a injector duty, pound for pound 30% duty on a power fc sounds about right. But who wants to run same boost! AD
  2. Need a flywheel to suit Rb25det
  3. Have you driven one, I thought you were a rev head? whats the point in having a turbo that makes most of it's power below the rev range you use it in? Come for a visit and I'll let you have a drive of my car and you can decide if the lag vs power trade off is worth it. I tuned Lee's car on 98 aswell and it made 270rwkw at 17 psi on willalls mainline, and his turb is a hks 3037 with .68 rear housing, and IMO the r and d that has gone into the rear housing is why they out perform there garret brother!
  4. bummer, will picking up junior around that time, ill see if I can palm him off to my milf!
  5. I wouldnt bother with the .73, Ive had the AVO one, it had a better midrange but not much to offer up top, still held in too much heat, Hks do a .68 and IMO does a much better job. (just ask Lee RB25DETS2) Bang for buck a .86 garret is hard to beat, anything smaller just bottles the heat in. On 98 it's pointless running higher than 17-18 psi, so at that sort of boost roughly 260-270 would be good reliable figure.
  6. same core, 3037 is the hks id tag
  7. (wasnt me) just put 3076 bolt on kit on his 34 neo from gcg, .8 rear, dump, llines etc came badged as a 3037! he's happy especially since I tuned the sucker on E85 and 24 psi !!!
  8. doesnt seem to get hot running e85, will see what happens in summer, will fit a switch to turn one pump off if it becomes an issue! as for a valve, whats wrong with the speedflow one's that I have fitted, works fine running one pump.
  9. I had a std pump die gradually, only noticed when knock level's came up, also had a tomei and a 044 die, tomei would lean out when it was hot, 044 would lock up and give instant lean out (bang, key banger) luckily no damage, I figured in the case of the tomei and 044 I was over working them. Now I'm running 1 044 internal and 2 external, so far so good.
  10. sounds interesting, German or Japanese?
  11. C'mon Pete, hard to find better than this, aslong as it has a few std parts thrown in http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ge...di-t317842.html
  12. shame to hide it under the car
  13. There's been huge upswell of support for webber on alot of forums/blogs, most anger being slung at Horner and the Helmut! Redbull have some damage control to do before canada, redbulls image is the biggest loser! getting slammed on there own website http://www.redbull.com/cs/Satellite/en_INT...mp;refmodpos=D1 IMO vettel misjudged his speed and came accross with a bit to much arrogance, as to say get out my way! glad it was him who paid the price with no points, the team reacted badly to the media and most likely needed to take a breath and review the incident before laying blame. unreal how much support webber's getting tho, lots saying take the title to a new team, ferrari, renault getting lots of mentions.
  14. not for a while, getting from the united on tapleys hill rd just past west lakes boulevard (CSR) goodness
  15. nothing special just replaced any exposed rubber when I first converted, been nearly 3 years without any issues, 99.9 cents a litre is a bonus, and smells much nicer than unleaded!

  21. I left my 044 as a lift, wanted to be sure it flowed plenty and was reliable, I'm running e85 and fitted another 2 044's feeding both factory lines and a bigger return! making around 400-430 rwkw
  22. good one guys, great route, my car had issue's on the morning so I hitched a ride with Lee, car seems to be fine now, the only thing I can think is it had a bad earth, and the alarm shut everything down, cleaned the terminal and it's better than it's been in weeks, bloody car! yeah poor fella pretty much reached from the first to second stop, let him ride in the front on the return trip and was happy as larry, bloody kid!
  23. Go check out the great video's that formula1.com are putting out? (you may have to sign up) gets the juices flowing, far more exciting than the real racing!!!
