bleed it properly first, have had a similar issue with my gtr after being impatient and not bleeding the system properly. can take a while to get all the air out, so take ya time and cut coke bottle with some tape around it to seal properly is your friend.. make sure the water in the bottle is the highest point and the air will come out eventually.

fair call, will you be offering the plates with larger outlets to those who do want larger feed lines? also do the walbro's T in before the billet cap or are they individual outlets on the billet cap?

champ if it is leaking from the injectors, the smell could be the least of your worries if your still driving this vehicle.. fire is a mutha f*ka in your pride and joy get it sorted asap.

the base seals need to seat perfectly into the manifold, otherwise they blow fuel back out on boost, you wont notice a leak at idle.. check for leaks near the base of injectors.

looks the goods, but 1000hp system claim seems a little overboard.. i doubt the standard fuel lines will even support that amount of fuel. IMO i would sell the carrier on its own and offer different diameter external fittings. i have had one intank support 527hp through the standard lines, but believe that was its "safe" limit, switched to surge and external pump and never looked back

Hey lads Had a squizy at my spare set of wheels the other day and noticed i had toyo proxes 4 on 2 of them (pretty much brand new) are they any good for track/drag work, and would it be worth me buying another 2 to have a full set? cheers

yeah been following that thread too trent! Its a convenience thing for me aswell, for example last weekend i was at powercruise here in perth and camped up with some of my v8 mates who run on methanol, so there was plently of methanol to go round.. at the end of the day, i dont drive this car on the street.. and its as simple as undoing and switching two -8 fuel fittings from cell to main fuel tank and flushing with pump 98.. for long term storage. another thing people may be interested in.. after running 180litres of this mix, my oil is still fine.. i was concerned about it milking up but have had no issues YET.

Justin i am currently using "md60" and added the vp additive. about $30 a bottle. VP M2 Additive for Methanol M2â„¢ Upper Lube Leaves a thin film of lubrication to protect against corrosion between races. Protects valves, guides, cylinder walls, fuel pumps, and aluminum fuel systems for methanol powered engines. Extends pump life. Virtually eliminates white powder residue from the interaction of Methanol and aluminum fittings. Allows fuel to be left in fuel lines for longer than normal. Does not alter the tune of the vehicle, nor block any fine nozzles for mechanical injection. Not recomended for use with Rotary vehicles. Can be mixed with other oils in historic motorcycles. Reports back from most racers, especially smaller capacity engines, is decreased engine wear, especially on piston rings. Use of this additive can mean the difference between 1 engine or 3 engine overhauls in the same season. One bottle treats 200 litres of Methanol.

the engine bay wiring was the least of my worries tryin to get that car to powercruise man haha we were still adding terminals to the main battery terminal on saturday morning!! mostly fuel system sh*t, that will eventually be hidden to a junction box somewhere.. yeah was lookin for ya on the cruises, but we were never on the same cruise eh.. saw brockas in my mirror once coming down to the main straight and was hopin for a run.. but he wouldnt come play!! he may have been leavin track or something.. anywayssss e85 will happen.... but i have a drum of methanol i have to do something with

Ran this tune around the track at powercruise for the weekend.. very impressed, feels much stronger through the whole rev range compared to my pump tune. anyone ever done this mix and successfully made power? any fuel system guru's that could tell me what i need to upgrade to reach my 26-27 psi boost level? or could the methanol be reduced and the bp increased? what sort of effect on octane does this have? will still be giving e85 a shot but just curious to give this another crack too..

hey lad yeah still have them, and yeah they fit the standard rail also for an extra $150 i have a rail here that has a nismo adjustable fuel pressure reg mounted on the end and also a centre return fitting welded on.

Lad if you have access to a hoist, drop gearbox engine and kframe out from underneath! she's a heavy lump coming out from the top

i know your looking for 18s but as an idea i run 19x10.5+18 275s with no guard mods, nu scrubbing.. will be rolling the lips soon so i can lower. plus if you search for superjets gtr he is also running 19x10.5 +11 looks tough as!

was sittin with a good mate that runs methanol in his burnout car and after a few discussions and some research we thought we'd give it a go.. plenty of positives for it lad(e85 in perth is $2.68 per litre my methanol/petrol mix worked out at $1.35 a litre half the price and just as much power potential), unfortunately for me it didnt go as planned, i underestimated the fuel system required.at a guess if i ran another sx pump and some id2000's i have no doubt we would be seeing over 650.BUT i am pretty sure if i run e85 with the same setup i have now i will have the same issue with not enough fuel system.. e85 50% 50% bp like you have used is probably what i will try next, if it doesnt perform the way i want i will upgrade the fuel system too a monster setup my setup is methanol safe ie. i run a seperate fuel cell in the boot, all lines are teflon, pumps are meth safe, injectors are meth safe. and also this car is not a street car, it isnt even licensed, i would not suggest for anyone to use this type of mix if they were planning on driving it daily or were not prepared to flush the system and store the fuel correctly.
