  1. R.i.p.s or spool 3.2L? Going the 30 bottom end route for cost and strength to avoid having to buy an N1 block. Aiming for 750awhp
  2. My place of work will be building it and I served in the army with my mechanic for 10yrs and we will be building it together so his advice is good advice lol
  3. The owner is pulling the donk out and returning the car back to stock. He seems very genuine and was telling me about his business plans and reasons for removing the motor. I think I’m just gunna build my own to be honest though. I already have a different hotside setup that I want to run anyway and he isn’t willing to part the motor. I guess it was a moment of weakness for me when it popped up for sale haha
  4. I have spoken to JEM about it and they vouch for the car and also have spoken to the owner of the motor in depth over the phone about it. Watched a dyno pull of the car making the 602kws. I’m just unsure cause I don’t want to buy it then have the thing grenade in 5000kms time and no warranty on the build lol Maybe I should just go with my gut instinct and do my own build
  5. So I am about to start a Nitto 2.8 build on my 33 GTR and an already built Nitto 2.8 by CRD has popped up on the market with only 2200kms on it. Would I be better off buying the prebuilt 2.8 or building myself? My mechanic swears by building yourself so you know what you are getting and not get ripped off but if it potentially saves me $$ in the long run if the motor checks out by contacting CRD and Jem about the build, would it be worth it?
  6. If it's your first boosted car/first skyline, I'd recommend just learning to drive it as is standard. Take it to track days and skid pan days and just have fun and learn the car. If it's a GTSt, just remember even if it's only making 140rwkw completely stock, boost + inexperience is enough to spit you out into a tree or someone else and kill you. If it's not your first turboed car, then go nuts lol Btw congrats on choosing the 33. By far my favourite of the skyline family and I'm on to my 4th one now
  7. Hey guys, Have for sale a genuine Apexi RB26 Highmount manifold to suit twin turbo for sale. External wastegate design with balance pipe. Old school twin turbo highmount for those JDM feels. Located in Darwin but will post because no one lives here. Chasing $600 obo
  8. Uhh your GTR hurts my feelings I want it so bad. Here's mine, taken with iPotato 6
  9. 33 bilsteins still for sale? If so can you pm me pics please of ride height and suspension themselves. Cheers
  10. I run the same oil (Penrite 10w40) and my oil temps sit at 70-80 when cruising and giving it stick on the road and only hits 90-100 when on the track. This is in Darwin heat too so could be more than likely gauge/sensor
  11. Haha tax return time, will be closing the wheel gap soon!
