  2. when you press the horn button the relay will click. or better yet, swap it with another relay, highbeam or fuel pump and see if it works.

  4. +1, thats what i used on my 32, and didn't have any pinging or spark problems.
  5. they could both be stock. there is a difference in series one and series two 33 turbos, s1 is steel wheel compressor and s2 is nylon compressor wheel.
  6. nah, at the end of the gearbox, on the drivers side, and on the side of the box. edit: yeah, near where the shifter goes into the box.
  7. they also have a different feel and sound when lightly tapped than a steel wheel does.
  8. i got the whole setup, and in brisbane. the compressor had a squeeky bearing and kept blowing the fuse. but i have the rest, all lines, condensor, etc
  9. i havent tried this but was told that you would need like you said, 6 x 10ohm resistors on each of the injector signal lines. but i was also told by the person trying this that they were having trouble with the resistors constantly burning out.
  10. 100 kpa is 14.7psi so there is no way 6-7 kpa is 10psi, its more like 1psi. it depends on which wastegate actuator you are using, if you put the rb20 one on it will be around 10psi, but if you left the 33 one on it will be around 7psi.
  11. go to repco and ask for a n/a vl one. their the same and only like $20.
  12. nothing. i have nothing bolted up to mine either. my best guess is that it is some sort of mount for the stock exhuast.
  13. you could try and undo the two bolts that hold the wastegate actuator onto the turbo and see if there is enough play in there to close the gate fully, otherwise just slightly bend the actuator rod until and wastegate flap is fully closed.
  14. and for which wire to use look at this ecu pinout diagram here on Paulr33's site, http://paulr33.sauvic.com.au/diagrams/rb25det-pinout.pdf
  15. go off the ecu pinout to the o2 sensor. its heaps easier, also you wont have wires exposed top the heat of the exhaust.
  16. does the pfc need a variable tps input, i think it does?? why cant you use the std 33 tps, wont it bolt up properly?
  17. oh ok, didnt notice that in your first post you said it was a vl manual tps. what ecu are you running? you wont be able to use the manual vl tps with a stock ecu, auto or manual. the manual vl tps only has the on/off switch, when the throttle is closed the switch is closed. just do a continuity test on the pins until you find the ones that switch.
  18. i think he means how cheap everything is in canada. i don't think they have to pay for compliance.
  19. on skylines manuals and auto's both have 2 plugs for the tps. one is apart of the plastic tps moulding and the other is on the end of a short length of cable coming out of the tps unit. the one on the length of cable is the variable tps output. usually 3 wires, 5v input, ground and variable voltage output. (from memory the middle one on the plug is the output) the one that is apart of the plastic tps moulding is the throttle on/off switch. usually 2 wires, just a switched, on/off voltage.
