You know how they have that 'report a smokey vehicle' thing? I once reported a cop car which had heaps of black smoke coming out the exhaust It was quite amusing.

Oh and the other good thing was my lawyer doesn't want any extra money since I gave him money last time. So I've had him represent me the last 2 times and had the last 2-3 times I went to his office for free.

$300 fine and most importantly 0 points. I'm keeping my licence The judge said I didn't seem happy about it when the police prosicutions read out the court brief so I did get to say it was a load of shit(not in those words). Probably didn't help. But just hearing the court brief, the way the cop who raped me worded what happened and a couple lies from it pissed me off.

Because it's still unsafe they reckon but not illegal.... LOL. I don't care, I seriously don't care. 6 months, $$$, stress.... all gone

Well it's tomorrow. Theres been a fair bit of stuff going on with this. Long story short I should only be looking at a fine now, a max of $2000 but more likely $100 (?) + $80ish for having it at the stage where the police brief was made. Most importantly I should not be getting any demerit points. I really couldn't give a rats ass about money so it's fine by me. It'll still be my first defect offence and next time i'll get my car taken for the 48hours. Bassically If I continue with it to trial they want to change the charge to something which will have a worse outcome for me should I lose. I guess if your going to get a new shim for your diff be aware you may be ass raped by the po-po unless it is exactly the same thickness as factory I also guess your shim will never be allowed to wear out! Lets make them out of diamonds or something.

What would be the most amount of people able to go on a day? Obviously I'm thinking of how much track time to a $ value based on the amount of cars as a large factor in wether or not I'd go. Also stupid question, thats $120 per day correct?

Next Friday night the 12th at Queensland Raceway theres another drift practise session on. It'll probably be good to go to this one as I suspect with drifting being on at Archerfield friday night and also Driftstate on Sunday there won't be as many cars out there which means more track time for the rest of us As per usual, gates open at 5pm, track opens at 6pm and runs till 9:30. $10 gate entry $50 skid pan $80 on track + skid pan note: there is a cost for the licence which I can't remember. Just pray for some kind weather.

Just have to clear this one up. It is for illegal modifications only. A Broken headlight may be a defect but it is not an illegal modification and you will not have your car taken for it.

Yeah but it's the point of it. I'm too stubborn and proud to take blame for something I didn't do like this and that's why I don't want to just roll over. Car confiscation laws to tackle hooning will go state wide in Queensland from Tuesday after a trial saw nearly 1500 cars locked up. The Type 2 hoon laws target repeat offenders who are charged multiple times with one of five offences. Ok so it was just a mention today. They have amended the charges. They agree that it is not a locked diff but are still saying it has been tightended which is still unsafe. The funny thing is the original charge was for 6(1)(b) modifying a vehicle, in a way that adversly affects saftey and has now been changed to 5(1)(e) The vehicle is not unsafe but is otherwise defective. Now how are they saying it's still unsafe yet they are changing the charge to the one that says it is safe... LOL. Anyway the differance is from 3 points and $150 to 1 point and $75 although if I were to plead guilty to the new charge it would be taken as being at first opportunity and the fine would most likely be less. I am thinking of pleading guilty to the new charge mainly as it's just too much of a pain in the arse and way too stressful. Ontop of that it's going to cost me a lot more money the longer it goes on. Im sure you can imagine the situation. Also, we did finally get the brief today which included a transcript of the conversation I had with the office at the time which was recorded. It should be noted that the transcript was done by the same cop. Bassically it is all a load of shit. Most of it is completely out of order of events and there are a heap of things I & he didn't say and things that are claimed to have happened. Not to mention most of things ive said he has written down 'unintelligible' I guess as he couldnt hear what I had said. Also just for laughs. "police were patrolling(getting food from subway) the ...... area when their attention was drawn to a black Nissan Sedan(coupe thanks) bearing qld registration RBR33. The vehicle was intercepted(err I was parked, hardly intercepted). I also apparently said I was going to change my diff...uh don't think so. The funny thing about that is I'm supposed to have changed the diff as to have a legal one. I haven't changed the thing at all since then yet the shim has worn down and would be quite legal now according to them without having changed anything.

Yeah, I don't know we'll see tomorrow I guess. I doubt they could give them a timelimit but the judge can just throw it out anyway. Also I was told this today. If they cannot provide detail of the specific mod thats a defect you'll get off it. For example say if you have a defectable BOV and you get defected for it and go to court. If they cannot say what type of BOV it was then you'll get off for it. This came up because the cops have no idea what my diff is or whats done to it other than what the cop assumed and what I've told the.

Ok, so the police brief still isn't done. Apparently tomorrow actually isn't set down to be the trial it's just.... well I actually have no clue what tomorrow is supposed to be now and police prosicutions couldn't tell us when we were talking to them on the phone. I also HAVE to be there tomorrow even though it's not a trial and normally I should have been able to just have my lawyer go in for me. Once again I have no idea what the deal is with that. So I guess it's probably not going to be dealt with finally tomorrow after all

Well as of yesterday the police brief still hasn't been done... Even if it's done Monday we could go in and get it postponed again on the basis that we haven't had enough time for it. But I'm so tired of this I just want it over with one way or the other.
