having your name as a custom plate is silly...my mate had one (his now ex-wife brought it for his birthday) and got nothing but trouble with them. they are just as silly as putting on your car any of the following: frangipani stickers those "my family" stickers (although there some funny ones there) the Southern Cross sticker or car seat covers with the Southern Cross - nothing screams you're a bogan aussie than this (funnier when it's on a non aussie car) Chev badges on a Commodore....enough said

Spotted a black M35 in Gladstone Park...looked pretty nice kinda weird seeing another Stagea in my area (I beleive there are 3 around including mine...but I think I'm the only C34 around)

I've been slack and haven't gotten around to upgrading my brakes (F&R R34 GT-T Rotors and Calipers). I cracked open the box since it's been sitting in the shed for about 2 months and looked at the lines I got with them... This is one of the braded lines I got with it (good thing I saw that they are ADR Approved) the other braided line is exactly the same The rears are the stock R34 lines As you can tell from the last photo it appears that it has been cut from the hard line I think (all the lines have been cut at that point) Do you think these will work on a S2 Stagea and will the stock R34 rear lines work or will the standard Stagea's one work?? Is there anything extra I need to be aware of??

To deciper his post (try to anyways) His mate is doing his head in, he use to be able to beat his mate at FIFA but now the shoe is on the other foot and wants tips... Are you playing against your mate online or in "offline" (as your mate comes over) I have done many of many FIFA sessions with my brother and our friends (now my mates son who's 7 comes and plays too)...from pretty much FIFA: Road to World Cup 98 to FIFA 13. The question I ask is what is your play style?? Do you just run down the middle of the pitch, do you set up play, use the wings...We usually play doubles and that really teachs you how to play team football because you're constantly on the lookout for your partner and making runs and plays. For me, using lobed through balls and spreading out the play into the wings to cross them in is a good tactic, but also learn some of the trick/skill moves (especially if you're playing guys online)...go onto youtube for those tutorials

The "why I Wont Do A Manual Conversion" Thread
BigDirtyJase replied to AlexCim's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
The main reason I won't do a manual conversion on mine...other than price and man hours...is basically I'm 6'3" tall and I remember driving a manual one and hard time shifting gears comfortably... plus at the time I brought my car....manuals were going for 25k at the time.... -
Hmm...I was watching Inside West Coast Customs and in one of their cars they were installing Pedders coilovers....I checked out the website and for shits and giggles I wanted to check if there is one for a Stagea surprise surprise there is for the S2 I believe 1996-2001 Stagea WGN34 Wagon - 16-0174 Extreme XA Coilover Kit wonder if anyone has used them??

Some Prick Broke My Weather Strip
BigDirtyJase replied to BigDirtyJase's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
yeah the wind/rain deflectors....how do I take them off (it's kinda silly have one and one busted one) there is no CCTV in the carpark at the station I park at Mind you I wasn't the only car this prick broke into -
Hey Guys, Got back to the train station after work today. disarmed the car and heard the chirps that alarm has been triggered... My glovebox was open and centre console...all the f**ker took was my ipod (no big loss)...nothing else was taken...but the f**ker broke my passenger side weather strip when he broke into my car (I beleive some other cars got broken into as well) my question is...where can I buy another one and also how do I remove the weather strip

Don't forget it will need iTunes for games....then Apple will try and sue Microsoft for patent vioaltion because they created the kinect type controller first and Microsoft copied the look and feel...LOL Honestly...I don't know why Apple would want to get into the console market (again)....as it cost so much to develop a console these days

I like the reporters face when the guy tells her that I get paid at weddings to do burnouts....lol

How quickly do you need one??

hmm...have you looked in the parts section here...that's where I got mine from I got busted last year (stupid me unknowlingly drove into the city when the EPA blitz was on) and got a letter in the mail...I got a 3 inch turbo back system. I got the rear muffler from one of the guys on here and got it tested...with my full system = 94db. the exhaust place (in St. Albans that does the EPA test) cut my aftermarket off, flanged both the aftermarket rear and stockie rear mufflers and put it on...next test (3 inch system turbo back to I think 2 or 2 and half stockie rear muffler) = 79db. The stock rear muffler is a big beast (and bit heavy) that cuts alot of noise down. I've still got it on the car ATM (CBF'd to take it off at the moment)..I should take it off Best bet find a stockie on the parts forum (hopefully local) and when they test the system and eventually put the stockie rears on...they should flange it so you can put the old one back on Could be worse...I remember a guy there when I got my car checked out he had a EG Civc and on first test, registered 107db...found that the car had a de-cat installed (to which the owner saying he didn't know that it was installed...he brought the car like that...lol)

Might be back in Melbourne for this one....If I am I'll be in It will be funny for me....out in the westside (well north-west to be exact)...aint too many Stagea drivers around (to my knowledge..) So it will be nice to be with fellow Stagea drivers....

Hey All, I was just wondering for all you guys that have upgraded their stereos and speakers in their Stagea's (espcially S2 owners)...where did you mount your speaker crossovers...I'm considering buying new speakers (6.5" mids and tweeters)...ATM my current speakers (Boston SR60) are playing up (the tweeters fade - I get more sound from the left tweeter than the right..sometimes it goes back to normal 50/50 but it's getting annoying. So at the moment i'm constating playing with the balance to get equal sound). When my older bro installed my speakers, he simply shoved the crossovers in the doors (the passenger side has it's covers on and wedged in the armrest of the door skin, the drivers side the covers are off and has a plastic bag wrapped around it and wedged the same way - the covers were off because they couldn't fit in the area due to the electrics and handle hole thingy)...it's been working quite well in the last 2 years...just only in the last couple of months it's been playing up (I know ideally that having them in the doors is not a good idea but at the time it was the only spot I know). I'm thinking that the crossover on the drivers side is playing up and I will test it to see if it's stuffed or is it simply loose wires. If all else fails then I will buy either a replacement crossover or new speakers. I would like to know from you guys where did mount your crossovers?

Boost Gauge .. Where Did You Put It?
BigDirtyJase replied to Ezekiel86's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I saw this on Import Monster Is that for a S1 or a S2?? More importantly...is from the RS4S or a RS4V?? -
This is what stopped me from getting the rotors from RHDJapan (BTW I was the one who got them to add them in) it's the weight of the rotors that makes shipping expensive...didn't matter where I was trying to get them from (RHDJapan, Greenline or Nengun) it was just killing for shipping. Before I found a R34 GT-T set on here I was going to get them from Import Monster. On the subject of those R34 Brakes, I got them yesterday (Thanks to Wolverine for putting the link on here and tir31 for selling them)...now I know the fronts should be a direct fit but what do I have to do again to get the rears to fit (I remember that you have to trim the dust cover...am I right?? and if I am right by how much and where to trim)

Boost Gauge .. Where Did You Put It?
BigDirtyJase replied to Ezekiel86's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
whereabouts in Import Monster did you find it?? -
how much did that set you back??
-
Will the 310mm front rotors fit straight on Wolverine or will I have to do some slight modifications?? I'm just waiting for funds to clear up so I can buy the R34 brakes and rotors from the link you put up (can't came fast enough...brakes are starting to squeal)

I'm getting MW3 in the next couple of days (but downloading a "demo" copy for a single player fix)....from what I've read and watch...it does look like an extension of MW2 and the graphics engine is really starting to show it's age. I like being the Sniper but I like to move to a spot get a shot off and kill someone and then move off the next spot, but quickscoping is just silly to me. But there should be an option for spawn protection to stop the spawn campers.....they are the ones that are real PITA. The one thing I don't like is COD: Elite. paying for to access premium DLC and other stuff is crap...what's worse you can see where the spawn points are on a map (make spawn camping even worse - that's if you pay for it). What's worse....there is no COD: Elite for PC as of yet
-
The Defi DIN Gauge would be eaiser...but the gauges are 2 temps and 1 pressure and there is not other combinations. Unless that's what your after. At least you got triple gauges and the ablity to mount gauges at the top of centre console...us RS4V guys have to contend with gauges either in the middle or the bottom (damn double din headunit)

Qld R34 Gtt Brakes
BigDirtyJase replied to tir31's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
how much will it cost to ship to 3043?? -
Well good news for me, a friend of mine is sourcing a set of R34 GT-T front and rear calipers (and short lines from what he told me) in the next couple of weeks. What is the good set of rotors to get? and what do I need to do in order to change my calipers. Are the lines the same? (I have S2 Stagea), Can I still run the Stagea Brake Master Cylinder or should I change that to the R34 one as well. Yes I know I should be search for this on the forums...but I'm entering this on my mobile phone at the moment during a quick break at work
