In another news, Kazunori Yamauchi (CEO of Polyphony Digital) has stated that if Seb Vettel wins the F1 championship in Suzuka this coming weekend...for the next week everybody who logs into GT5 will receive the Red Bull X2010 S. Vettel car as a gift from PD.

Polyphony would had this update out sooner but from memory they had just some of their staff members from Tokyo to f*kuoka City (I beleive it was around 50 staff) and on top of the recent earthquakes had slowed down production. I'm hoping that update does give some more premium cars (or upgrade some standard cars)... Forza 4....why do I have the funny feeling that it will be just as boring as Forza 3 (apart from able to do engine swaps and la di da paintwork)...Watch the episode of Top Gear US where Adam Ferrara & Rutledge Wood race a Lexus LF-A around Infineon Raceway in Forza 4 while Tanner Foust drives a the real LF-A around the track...from a distance...it's looks like the same as Forza 3 (but that's my opinion)

Well at least its a start on where you can get direct replacement brake discs...even if they are just the PD rotors. Did you ask them if they can get the SD rotors in?

I wonder if the climate control unit and/or the bracket are different between the V (auto) and the S (manual). The S has the factory three gauges up the top and then the climate control in the middle (sometimes it's the other way round).. As you can see in the photo...I wonder if our manual friends on here can tell us is there a difference in the climate control unit or the bracket because like you, I don't want to do any cutting or trimming of he bracket

UPDATE, I took my car to my friends shop today to check out this oil leak because it's gotten progressively worse...checked the lines and found that they were actually OK. Found that it was leaking from the oil temp sensor hole (it had an adapter so I could fit the sensor) So I cleaned it up and resealed it, only to find it leaking again, tried another fitting and still leaking. Ended up having to take off the entire relocation kit and put the oil filter back on the block. I need to clean up the re-locator kit and need to see it why it was leaking. My mate thinks that the fitting hole on the filter block is cracked but can't tell without cleaning out the old oil. I wonder where I could get another filter block (if my one is cracked and can't be repaired) from or I might end up going with just a sandwich plate Once I clean it up, I'll post some pics of the filter block

Dixcel have direct replacement rotors for our cars (either standard or slotted)...but there are no distributors in Australia. This is according to Dixcel in Japan when I emailed them and ask about who is the distributor in Australia As previously mentioned in here that you can get DBA rotors and machine the OD to match and fit the standard rotors (unless you've upgraded to R33/R34 rotors and callipers or you own a M35) I'm looking for a set of Dixcel's locally but it's hard to find them and importing them in is expensive (due to the weight for shipping). Whilst people in the know have ensured me that machining the OD of the disc is perfectly safe...IMO I don't want to chance it

I'm using a Blitz SBC I-D Spec R. Not a bad little unit...only one gripe I have...the dual solenoid unit is massive (compared to others)....little bit hard to hide from praying copper eyes

I did have a photo of it on SAU somewhere...I'll post them up when I find it at home (or take another photo) I've got mine the other way round...headunit in the middle and the gauges in the bottom.. I wanna change it so the gauges are at the top, the climate control (damn those globes have blown again.....urgh) in the middle and the headunit down the bottom

They both do the job but brake cleaner is a little bit more effective....I just happened to have like 4 and half cans of degreaser in the shed...might as well use them (there is alot of oil stains on the driveway from multiple cars with oil/power steering leaks over the years)... anyways...Where is the best place in Melbourne where I can get either braided lines and either the crappy Earls clamp type ends or proper AN -10 fittings (would that mean I have to change the fittings on the relo kit)...or where can I get good rubber hose from? Rubber hose whilst cheaper...will keep me going for now (waiting to get paid from work...god I hate montly pay sometimes) but want to go with proper braided lines and fittings down the line

Thief!!! That's how I got mine setup (execpt I don't have the JJR 3 gauge DIN Slot)....you even have the same head unit as me...lol It's wasn't too much of a PITA for me when I installed them...But I'm going to replace my Autogauge set with some nice shiny Defi ones very soon

I quite like the game...I haven't finished it yet but enjoying it. Yeah the first boss was a PITA to beat...died numerous times before I killed him Deus Ex is using a up to date graphics engine (sort-of). they used a Crystal Dynamics (creaters of the rebooted Tomb Raider) engine and modified the hell out of it. You have to remember that this is a multi platform game so graphics are somewhat sacrificed. IMO the graphics look very good, the colour pallete makes the game very blade runner looking...lots of yellows and blacks

Hi All, I've notice that I have oil leaking out from my relocation kit and it appears that one of the braided lines might be stuffed (on the filter end). Does anyone know what is the size hose they use. I might go for rubber hoses for now while I'll source some proper braided lines and fittings (while the braided lines suppied in the kit are fine, I don't like the Earl's fittings that you get, it's a fancy end with a hose clamp inside it and atm they are only on one set on because if the other two, the clamp stuffed up and pretty much makes it useless) Thanks in advance

Well I kinda noticed from the demo videos at PAX (I think it was PAX) that it was going look crappy. I think I said in another thread that Gearbox Software simply brought the Duke Nukem IP and basically finished DNF off and left it how it was... This is what you get when a developer/designer (George Broussard) can't make his mind up on designing the game, putting in items that he saw in other games...changed the game engine on from Quake 2 Engine to Unreal Engine and it basically drove 3D Reams broke...13 odd years of devleopment would do that. (if you notice in DNF some of the one liners Duke says are very old dating back to events during the devleopment timeline) From what I heard that Gearbox Software has stated that they will develop DLC for DNF a start working on a brand new Duke Nukem game using the lastest graphics and what not.. Only problem is that Duke Nukem (in terms of one liners and stuff) is very old and needs to be updated somewhat

I checked the around the filter...it's no leaking from there...it's definitely coming from the hoses (I'm going to hate taking them off...because one side has the crap Earl's clamp fittings, it's going to take some time to get them off...and blood will be drawn and lots of swearing

where did you get the LED's for the centre console from??

Well I degreased the car around the relocator kit and now I know I have an oil leak :-( ...looks like it's coming from one or both of the braided lines from the relocator (where the oil filter screws on to). I have been checking my oil and it's all ok for now Now my guess is I need to replace the hose or hoses (this is going to be fun)....does anyone know the size of the hoses....I might just get regular hoses for the time being.

Hey all, Well over the weekend I did an oil change on my car. I put some oil flush in and run the car for about 15 minutes and then drained the oil from the sump (black as hell)...after about 20 minutes to let it drain completely put the bolt back in the sump and went to take off the oil filter from the relocator. When I took off the filter, oil spilled out of the filter and down the LHS (when you standing in front of the engine)...causing oil to spill on to the floor. So I cleaned the oil on the floor and tried to clean up around the LHS of the engine as much as I can. Once I did that, put the new filter on and poured in my new oil (GW Syn-X 3000). Now after I checked everything and went for a drive to the shops. The next morning I can see a pool of oil that's leaked onto the concrete...I touched and it looks like the old oil is dripping from underneath the car somewhere...I cleaned up most of it with a rag over night and checked this morning and there is no drips but when I drove to my client this afternoon, I decided to have a look when I went out for a ciggy and saw oil drops on the road... what's the best way to clean all that up...I'm assuming that I might have to jack the car up and attack it with some degreaser or something else from underneath the car (I have big hands and arms to attack from the top) It's slowing driving me mad with oil dropping (I'm only hoping it's old oil, if it's new, fresh oil...then I'm screwed because I don't know where it's exactly coming from) Thanks In Advance!!

I use to have a Hybrid CrossfireX setup on my PC a while ago (Radeon 5770 + GeForce GT220). The Radeon for graphics and the GT220 for dedicated PhysX...It wasn't too bad but It could be better with a better nvidia card and a more powerful PSU (I've only got 620W in mine currently) I know that the 6970 has the Lucid Hydra Chip onboard so you can run this card and virturally any other card (AMD or nVidia) together. There is some teething problems drivers wise and scaling issues..and the some of there testing I have seen doesn't look too good but you have to remember this is very new and raw so it will take some refinement

Perma DRM really sucks the big one... Auction Houses...hmm...from what I read there is two different types of auction houses in the game...one that you can use in game gold and the other is real world money....I don't know about this.. Also the real-money auction house is not available for players playing in hardcore mode...

I'm leaning towards Battlefield 3.. I'm going to "demo" these two when they come out (for the single player experience) but I will pay my hard earned money on Battlefield 3 for multiplayer. BF3 will have dedicated server support from the word go and that's the big thing leaning me towards this DICE have said that BF3's lead platform is the PC then Consoles where as Infinity Ward (Most likely pushed by Activision) will go the other way round (console first, PC second)...also MW3 has no dedicated server support so expect finding local games a bit more difficult (and deal with bad ping rates)

I don't think you can trade the Toyota 7...it's on the GT5 "Banned" List (I think cars over a specific amount is not allowed. They (PD) did this to stop people trading like 50 X2010's) hmm...If I get a chance to get on tonight, I'll add you and let you borrow my Toyota 7 if you want
