Well lucky for me I don't have to visit my mate in Dandenong anytime this weekend Last time I visited him (when the last blitz was on)...I got pulled up 3 times and had my car checked out....One in Dandenong and then again in the City and last on CityLink (that was a booze bus)

To try and answer LordMidol's question Alienware (now owned by Dell) kept its autonomy for while and Dell kept Alienware's main competitor, the XPS line going. As of 2009 the XPS units have scaled down and becoming the 2nd line gaming units, where now Alienware is Dell premium gaming brand and the laptop my mate brought is the first Alienware/Dell branded system So yeah...the Studio XPS line is now the 2nd tier gaming laptops....they are still pretty good and try to maintain a reletive good price level. Another good laptop is HP 4510S (Model#: VA033PA)

I have to agree with CHAS4 and go pay the little bit extra for onsite warranty means you can get your rig fixed at your home and not have to take into a service and get it fixed if money was no problem you can get this (my friend just brought it for gaming) http://www.alienware.com.au/DNN2/Default.a...figurationID=75 but he paid more because he got it customised with 2x 1GB 4850's in Crossfire, QX9300, 8GB Ram and WinVista Ulitimate 64bit edition to name a few...it set him back about 7k but it's a real nice laptop but for me it's just too much

Yeah I had two flares in my car...one was in the passenger map holder and another hidden under the passenger kick panel. They are usually removed at complience but they do sneak through. One of them is expired and the other expires this year....the expired one my friends set it off at new years and the other one is missing...I'm thinking its somewhere in the car or my mates pinched it off me no big loss....a friend though the flare holder was a umbrella holder...lol

I've got my setup like Nick's (Goldzilla) but just flipped around (I've got my 3x Autogauge gauges on the bottom and my head unit on top)...I'm thinking of changing it to like Nick's setup... Also although off topic....you guys got any ideas where to mount the the hand controller from the Blitz Spec-R boost controller. I've currently got it on my vent (used a clip from an old ambi-pur car air freshener) for whent he cops pull up, you can easly take it off and put it away but I would like to use my vent...any ideas I'll take a photo of how its currently setup

Well i'm down...I just got a new HDD for my PC and installed Vista....Just need to install my Orange Box Disc again so I can get my games going. CS:S will be good (since most of you guys have been playing) TF2 would be good - just need a decent amount of people playing L4D is good but it's stuck to 4 on 4 max mulitplayer COD5 would be good to (I currently have that installed on my PC already)

Man I was out on the eastside on Friday night after work. Went to Noble Park Maccas (my mate lives in Dandenong North) and I was telling my mate that there is blitz on tonight...the amount of f**ktards hanging out in the car reving cars up just made me laugh...then someone did obligatory yell out cops and watch them scatter...Cops did drive past and pulled up some cars coming out of maccas and I just drove away Me and my mate also had to go to Knox Shopping Centre because to pick up his wife's neice and drive her back because she can't drive her car (she's 19 and owns a 02 Monaro CV8). She didn't drive it to work but her brother swapped cars. So I drove the Monaro back and get pulled up straight away and got tested Here is the conversation I had with the cop Cop: Is this your car? Me: No, it's actually her car (pointing to her - she was sitting in the car) Cop: Then why are you driving it? Me: Because she's only on her P's and can't drive it. Her brother came and swapped cars earlier in the evening Cop: Fair enough...Do you know how she paid for a car like this? Me: She got it as a 18th birthday present Cop: Lucky her! Wish my parents brought me a Monaro when I was 18...too bad she can't drive it (little do they know she does drive it around). Well you must be lucky to have a pretty lady like her and drive her car Me: I guess I am. They found nothing wrong with the car and sent us on our way. I remember an online game called Project Torque. I just downloaded it recently started playing...Was wondering if anyone else heard of it and who has played it or who is currently playing it It's very Street Legal Racing: Redline (the guys that made this games made Project Torque)

Dunno about the NV googles, there are pretty neat looking (would make slightly more sense to come out on a Splinter Cell game but who am I to judge)...they look pretty expensive...I'm think that Activision are going to sell a heap of these to make a profit (I can see the news reports now about people doing silly stuff and blaming it on the NV goggles they got with MW2) I was watching Inside Gaming on youtube last night (there were at Comic-Con) and they was saying that Activison got cold feet with the title so it appears that the Call Of Duty name will be associated with it I've put on the box shot of what the Xbox 360 (and most likely all the versions will look like)

Bad bits for me - stanadrd front strut bar gets in the way of a service, also all the extra pipes for emissions just makes a pain - could have used better material for the rear seat levers in the tailgate section (one of mine were already broken when i got it and CBF replacing it) - drivers seat position (is it me or is the driver seat sit higher than the passenger seat (no matter what I still hit the roof anyways - joys of being 194cm tall) - triptronic shift lag (yes it can be cured with a shift kit) - but I don't think Nissan were thinking about people race shifting their Stagea's - lack of a dimmer switch and my major gripe Climate control lights blowing out - fine, they can be replaced - but there are a nightmare to find especailly the ones for the buttons (beacasuse they are very small - does anyone know where to get them)

I missed out watching the GP last night (was a mates house) but I'll try and watch the replay sometime this week. I can remember me and my mates laughing about the Massa crash when we saw it but didn't know what caused it (was watching it a the Lion Hotel at Melbourne Central and was a fair distance from the TV Screen). I thought it was driver error, it was only until I read it later on that night and gone wow. Watched the video and it just looked frightening. Componded with Surtee's death it just puts F1 safety again into question (although IMO these were just freak accidents).

Sorry if it come out to be harsh (I don't want it be harsh) but why do you need to know what wire does what in the ignition barrel?? Are you planning on installing a turbo time or something??

Mate of mine got his S2 back today from the mechnics today (just a standard service - he's too anal to let me do it for him)...I noticed that his mechanic put in set of Plantiums (NGK PFR6A-11) and Ryco Oil Filter Z442. The mechanic told him that he used the same parts from the R34 Skyline So i'm guessing the Z442 is alright for the S2 stagea (since they share the same NEO motor as the R34)..am I right or am I tripping out?

I see you have a M35...I'm no expert on this...but I don't think an turbo back exhaust mod will push the boost to 15 pounds...sounds like it's been boosted previously by the previous owner...they should be running 7 pounds if its all stock (I know the C34's are like this dunno about the M35) - was it like this from the day you brought it?? But to answer your question on making these cars go fast? You can make any car go fast - it all depends on how much you would like to spend and what you want out of it... I suggest to start small but if you have money ready to go....What I have done on my car (or doing to my car), K&N Panel Filter, Boost Controller, FMIC and coming very soon a new turbo, ECU and tune. I would definitely say get your ECU upgraded - either a Full ECU Replacement (ie Apexi PowerFC) if your car is a manual or a piggy-back/daughterboard (ie. Greddy Emanage Ultimate or Nistune) if your car is auto. This is essential so you tune the engine to what you want to do.

The Nike Zoom FP Bumblebee's look the most decent - it just looks like a standard Zoom FP just with the autobot logo on the heel...I wouldn't mind a pair for a collectors piece...but the basketballer in me would make me wear them out.
