  1. still haven't heard from you!?!?!?!? what do you mean by thicker?? you mean the SAU on the back??? its is almost a perfect scale of the attached image, technically the scaled width of the lettering is 0.14 of a mm out, but i CBF'ed arguing with these guys over .1 of a mm, i had enough trouble with 1mm.... so if you want to provide me with better art work i'll have a look at it... just note, if the lettering doesn't print out to be exactly 200mm (on a peice of paper) then i dont want to know about it! however if ur just sore that were not using ur design for the back then i dont really care
  2. congrats to mark! i have this suspission that he actually had heavier fuel than vettel!! seems like RBR stratergy is that the person with the more agressive fule load for qualifying goes 2nd out of the garage... but being on a cold track, i think the heavier fuel load was getting the temps into the tires better and hence getting the speed in qualifying. similar reason as to what happened last race with the fuel loads reversed! tho there still seems to be a gap between brawn/RBR and the rest of the field =\
  3. probably not... not enough % ethanol to make a real differance so you wont see/get any of the advantages of ethanol... oh, and only 100 ron

People liked the stich outs so i'll hopefully place an order monday for demo tops monday... i'll probably get 2 or 3 (range of different sizes) and show them next friday with any luck!! and if, one again, people like them then full on ordering and all the exact details will be given out in a new thread that i'll point everyone to now as this process has taken so long, that thread will only be open for 2 weeks from next saturday... so this is a pre-warning!! edit: before anyone asks, i've already got people that have offered to get their tops made up as demo first so i dont need any help with that, thanks =)
  6. so why forse people to use the events section then? have the mods move all the events stuff to events, sticky the important events in that section... all thats going to happen is this will turn into another "events callander" that is already stickied that no one uses...

  14. no sinage yet... will be at villis this friday (as i got there WAY to late this week) to let people inspect them irl... whatever feed back i get from there will go to the company doing the embroidary and from there i'll either get a sample hoodie made up and ready for the following friday, so all up not this friday but the next one i should be starting a new thread for orders!

  17. was supposed to get the sample stich out yesterday, didn't happen, told me he'd call me today, didn't happen, so with any luck i'll get it tomorrow morning after i return library books... =\ so it looks like first sample hoodie wont be ready till next friday, and if its all good i'll kick off the order thread
  18. that hicas light isn't controlled by a simple fuse as far as im aware, pritty sure its the ecu going "OMG hicas is broken, get it fixed!!!" i think tomei sell a box your can replace the unit in the boot and it tells the ecu that its all good!
  19. meh, buy a vipec... cost $1500, and when you change ur mind on what car you'd like to have next week you can move your vipec to it =P
  20. and you could try a vipec if you can find one is this just to test, or for ever? if your looking to buy, go a vipec!
  21. yes, but is your gear box a push/pull type?? all RB's have the same fly wheel, the 33's and 34's have a 1.25cm larger clutch from memory, but it'll still fit 32/31's... just has to do with gear box now =\ u want and ECU to lock your diff?? =P mebe try a welder? and you could try a vipec if you can find one
  22. oh wow what a day... taking the BMW to workshop to get fixed and had just totally forgot about doing it hence the call at 12:00 for the workshop wondering where the hell i was!! due to a fuel leak it was out of petrol, so got out some jerrycans went and filled them and came back. after about 30mins of re arranging the shed, one paw swipe at a time, i rang dad found out that dad had swiped my good funnel, booo... but he told me where to find another, woot! now to fill the beemer.. interestingly enough, their petrol cap is operated by the central locking, so thats just an easy case of unlocking the door right? oh wait the battery is flat, so the central locking doesnt work, i let the workshop know whats up and then out comes the battery charger, an hour later i check up on its progress seems like its got a bit of juice in it (charger is saying 75%), so off it comes, i connect the batterup up and bingo, central locking!! i quickly poor in the petrol and go to start it.. and it fail to turn over!! RARARARA, call the RAA, call the workshop again. RAA gets here in about 20 mins, connects up the jump start thing, and it fires up.. then all of a sudden hes jumping up and down telling me to turn it off... im guessing hes spotted the petrol leak! =) so he tells me hes not going to let me drive it with a fountain of petrol pooring over the engine like that, and sets about fixing the problem, so 30 mins later, 2 new hoses and a new clamp the thing is running, so he heads off and i lock the house up to take the car to the workshop... till it stalls going up the drive and wont start again =( another call to the RAA and workshop and another 30 mins some ofther guy from the RAA rocks up, and fires the car up again, also turns out he helped build the purple 1960 skyline witht he RB26 in it, i ask him to if he can follow me to the workshop just in case... all up about 5 hours of piss farting round with this heap of junk that isn't even mine i finally got it to the damn workshop! if it was a horse, i would have shot it long ago!

  24. ummm... because she is turbo charging an NA?? i'm presuming you dont know much about compresion ratios?? turbo car has a compresion ratio of about 8.5:1, NA is about 14:1, meaning that you cant actually put a massive turbo and/or run much boost on an NA car... its all to do with things exploding =P
  25. +1 if you think about it logicaly... if you 1) put in a restrictor to the head... less oil getting there 2) open up the galleries ... more oil flowing back down why would you need ANOTHER drain at the rear of the head? surely nissan designed their head for the oil to flow back along the galleries not pool at the rear of the head? the issue of high constant revs means lots of pressure in crankcase... so much so it'll push pressure up the galleries and restrict oil flow to an extent, now if you vent this preassure with the "rear head oil drain" it means the galleries can do their job properly and everything is happy but hey, whats logic when we have the internet!! =)
