Just a heads up that drifting is on at midnight tonight... =) thought some of you might like to watch it mebe this should have been in the wasteland PS one is awsome
-
Barrichello actually got hit from behind and hence pushed into webber... you could penalise kovalinan for the incident, but he put himself out of the race totally because of it.. =\ actually, all cars weigh 675kg, kers or no kers.. so Kubica's car was still the same weight, he just had more adjustment with his balast. but were you watching the race? did you see what the ferrari's did off the line??? but i think it will be needed in just a few races, as soon as all the diffusers etc get sorted, the cars with kers will be the ones winning

its being showen again on 1, 7pm 31/3... love the 24/7 sports channel!!
-
got it on tivo sled... but i dont think that'll be much good to you =\ but awsome race, lotsa over taking, lotsa accidents... webbers bad luck continues! =P but sucks that vettel got penalised and fined, it was so 50/50!! and lewis ended up 3rd?!? seems a bit wrong, from what i could tell is that lewis intially overtook trulli under saftey car conditions! still race control seemed a bit slack on the first SC

yeah, i know how good newey cars are!! =) read up on alot of the tech specs and inovations (that have been made public) on this RB5 car. and Krishy, why wouldn't you use KERS off the line? its the best/easiest time in the race to make up places!! if you saw kimi using it yesterday, if your hammering it all the time that you can, you dont get past turn 9 with any charge left looks like a 3 stop stratergy is the way to go, i dont think the super softs could do anywhere near 1/2 a GP, not only that, as the track cools its going to get worse and worse for them. If i was looking at using them, it'd be in a first stint or 2nd at the latest!
-
yeah, damn, was an awsome q session, pirrty webber stuffed up his second run in q3! =\ otherwise it would have been Brawn 1,2 RBR 3,4!!!! and wow! look at those starting weights! thats some impressive speeds! such an awsome weekend so far!!! next thing to find out is how KERS will impact race starts!! but i think it looks like it'll be Brawn GP for 1 and 2 and Kubica for 3rd.. webber will be 8th at best (probably finish 9th) or DNF
-
Yeah the new "ONE" channel is avalible in both SD and HD, for SD it should be channel 12, for HD it'll be the old 10HD channel
-
one has been awsome for motor sport so far!!!! already had the ROC thursday night, now drifting!! wonder how much more there will be! =D
-
wow.... those diffusers!!! make such a differance, also good to see the RB's design paying off as well!! the most interesting thing to me is the time of the race, after about 40 mins into P2 lap times just started to fall off, even late in the session, normally the time for the quickest laps (more rubber/heat in the track) and the front runners using the SS tyres they still couldn't beat rosbergs time from the first 30 mins! but is going to make for such an interesting weekend!!! loving my tivo atm!! =)

From watching webber drive i think he driving style is that of a perfectionist! let me explain: from his ability to qualify well, he has it in him to do the best 1 lap effort you can in a car "a perfect lap" but this puts alot of strain on the car, particually when repeating this over a whole GP. hence all the DNF be where it shows up most is in traffic, as hes a perfectionist not a racer, has extreme dificulty in overtaing anyone, cant set others up for overtaking, just get owned by those that can all he cares about is his perfect lines! so while i think he is a very precise and accurate driver with alot of skill, i think he is a very bad racer that doesn't have that "killer" instinct in him

lol, i guess i suck at internet sarcasim!!! =P or else you guys dont think stuffs funny everyone knows that the big guys dont show their hand during "winter" testing, but for barichelo and button, it would be so sweet see #1 on the test time sheets this year, as apposed to reading 1s slower than people like force india last year!! - hence why i initially said they could be a supprise... IMO, i think this could be Kubica's year, well, if the german BMW actually want to get behind a polish driver etc.. still, cant wait for tomorrow!!!! soooo excited! like a kid on christmas eve... oh and the ban on in season testing HOPEFULY means that we'll see more friday action!! (then again, that'll also depends on tyre regs) still, it'll be the only time they get to test new bits out on their cars.
-
why do your think barichelo and button and topping the lap times?? old school baby!! =)
-
the thing about the most win = world champ, that got throwen out... (for this season at least) looks like mclaren will struggle intially, reno's new car seems like a dud, RB's car isn;t built for webber so he'll struggle, BMW will probably crush most people for the start of this season with honda (brawn or whatevers) probably being a big supprise for this year! my 2c

Fishpaste~ replied to Guilt-Toy's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
just a quick update on the E85 situation (esp for SA people), i've heard... "The E85 fuel supplier that did go belly up last week (people that supply enffue?) I heard today should be back on deck again, so the next week or 2 will tell" -

a knock in cylinder 6? so you mean the bearing has lifted in cylinder 6? which is pritty much the same as a spun bearing... cept that you probably wont have to replace the crank, and your block and head should still be in good nick, but is SFA away from being a spun bearing and the same work has be to done to fix it
-
Kat Von D is awsome!!! rararara
-
wow, they are some expensive prices, you should try shopping around some more =\ and your missing a few things, like springs etc, and there is stuff you can do to make it heaps cheaper also, you have to add tax on if you buy from nengun (the aussie government wants their cut as well!)
-
cept for the front accident damage?
-
clearly letters didn't work, so now they'll just be sending fines and cancelling plates instead.. =\
-
they introduced a heap of new random driving laws on jan 31? including 'you cant lead an animal while driving a car' and 'you have to return number plates of unregistered veichles before they have been unregistered for 90 days' Edit: fixed, to make sence
