not out of price range at all, there's heaps of different types for different prices my drz400 dominated my cousins ninja 250r as well lol, they look a bit meh compared to supersport style but ninja 250 / 300 aren't supersports anyway they're full upright position with skinny tyres lol

Yeah theft is like an addon for like $80 extra or whatever, I would just be standard and get the 250r like everyone else. CBR250rr is old junk. And no don't buy any gear online, go into a peter stevens, try it all on to make sure it fits snug - if you buy it all together you'll get some decent discount usually too.

Yea just get a ninja 250 or something like that to learn on for a year wont loose much money, rego is like 400 bucks for a 250 and insurance just get third party which is probably like $150. Gear wise you'll need helmet $300-500 (mine was like 480, could spend upto 1k if you want, depends what fits and feels good), kevlar jeans like $200, jacket is $4-500, gloves $50-130 and I'd recommend getting some boots when you can afford them say $200-250 for normal ones. TBH gear really depends on what you want to spend, but personally i'd set aside 1-1.5k for gear.
