Not because its apple (I own a ipad / iphone myself) I dunno I just didn't really like the idea itself at first.. just seems a bit ricey when you can buy good headunits already but when you think about it could work well Plus it would need to be a very clean install to pull it off, I didn't think of the GPS / laptime capability though so yeah might be good.. just make sure it's installed legit and not like this:
