  1. Cbf straightening. Which is why I just cut it shortish or else that shit goes curly. I hear Hamish straightens his beard
  2. True that sir, I'm trying to make mine look good yet practical for everyday and getting some good track times / drag times. There needs to be a balance not just on it's ass with huge rims and stretched tyres that will have ridiculous camber and wear out every 3 months. I do really want some track rims and tyres though after ripping up my street tyres. A good investment I think, people telling me you will notice like 10 sec off lap times with good tyres almost straight away.
  3. While that 33r looks tits driving as a daily to work I'd give it a week before you get teh po po problems. f*kn wish I could slam mine that hard though.. Mines sitting 100mm and still looks 4wd spec. I agree with Cas tho series 3 lip is the sex. Wouldnt be overpaying for one though if I had 1/2 on it in good condition.
  4. Wasteland, more like BURNland.
  5. Regarding weekend cars, I use my GTR every day - at first I was like zomg scared of steep driveways finding far away car parks, treating it like a godess etc etc.. but now almost a year on I think to myself.. f**k it its there to be driven its a 1998 doesn't get a garage spot sits out in the rain.. flog it around the track which cant be any good for it.. once its warmed up don't hesitate to give it a bit on the way to work even though its close by. Rather then spending another 10k + on a slow boring car another 2k + on insurance (im 21) and rego every year.. sure the GTR uses more petrol but the cost of having another car would equil about the same. In saying that though seriously considering picking up a GSX650F sports tourer bike for nice days to ride to work (save a little bit on fuel) and on the weekends. Insurance and rego AND fuel is much cheaper. Only down side = possible death.
  6. Whats up wasteland peeps, on teh lunch break.
  7. I sold my power fc for 800 with hand controller when i needed the money. Bought another one the other week now that I have a new job for 750 pickup As for turbos stock ones go for like 300? -5 -7 -9s go for 1000-2000 depending on KMs Front pipes 100-500 depdning how good they are and condition
  8. Hopefully there is some more standard GTRs going around in the next events
  9. Yeah I did thanks mate gotta throw a few on facebook haha was good fun.. now I'm hooked guess I'll cya at Sandown haha serious?
  10. Cops can suck my dick.
  11. Just came back from calder.. f**king cold as usual! Now bored as bro.
  12. lol
  13. My mate with his XR8 didn't find it to bad, he said gotta hold the burnout for a couple of seconds to make it a bit quicker off the line though.
  14. Yeah after running a 12.6 basically stock as a rock I'm sure my bro is kicking himself for putting money into his GTST But meh, thats just drags circuit is fun as well [/inb4 flame] Also Scott what about a 370z?
  15. True, but he road tests it as well so want it all there and working as intended Plus I CBF
  16. Billy - got a few quotes for full tune. Racepace said 800-900 And Trent said 750 ( extra 100 for gtr cos of the front drive shaft) and his going to keep it a couple of days so he can do cold start tune as well. So yeah booked in
  17. My first track day, mines a standard GTR number 15 @ winton Thanks mate
  18. Nice man! looking the goods I took mine to the drags on the weekend and managed a 12.6 with 1.9 60ft only (233rwkw) Looking at the vids I think you could change gears a little quicker mainly going to 3rd and 4th and try avoiding limiter I found that helped me a lot on the day. Also I had like 10 runs so lots of practise was great to get the times down. GL with the 11s mate not far off!
  19. Lol kris pretty sure since I sold the na still havnt been there Ur car will handle great once it's all done. Anyway to see pms on iPhone ? Never mind found it.
  20. Haha true that Hamish for now they are good enough I feel. Turbos and supportive mods first Also how much for a base tune with a power fc? Picking one up tonight and wondering if it's worth throwing in while I save for the turbos and other parts for a bit of fun in the mean time. Even if its a bit rough I'm sure it'll use less fuel then I am now stock ecu must pump so much in after you boost it up a bit. Wow that was annoying to type on iPhone.
  21. they are nice. remember your GTR would of had better potential for speed but for everything else they are mint edit: my mistake they still are quicker than i thought just wikied them 8:22 nurburgring time
  22. Good thing mines a daily then, but still want harness to help strap me in on the track. If car was a dedicated track car then sure I'd get a Cobra fixed back or something sweet.
  23. Was posted on the supra forum haha That was my slowest run of the day 13.1 gave it too many revs and clutch just couldn't keep up still got the win though haha
  24. gtr seats are good I want a harness for the track and will be even better
