Typically you can link up your NAS to dropbox,onedrive,google drive (just google your model and what you can do with it) most offer a few hundred gig free anyway which is fine for your typical backup of important holiday pictures, documents etc. Something to try and work out if you get the chance and can be f**ked Otherwise yeah like you've been doing copy stuff to it from your laptop so you've got it in 2 locations, the disadvantage of that is if you get robbed or house burns down all your data gone.

Beauty of slow aussie uploads means if you get ransomware it'll take ages to replicate anyway haha

I used to have an awesome backup method, had a backup folder on my NAS at home with mostly pictures / documents in it, would replicate upto my 'One Drive for Business' (1TB) cloud storage. Gotta set it up again since moving jobs I've got a new O365 account.. Most people don't backup until they've been stinged with a Virus or hardware failure etc.

The flying part I find easy, its the trying to spot any power lines etc through the phone screen once you fly far enough away to be out of sight. Good fun and gets some great shots, I can see it being one of these things I use for like a year then sell it though, would make awesome holiday video if travelling.
