Funnily enough the aussie 5.0 has some of the best oem headers going around.. proven after market replacements make absolutely no difference to power and the stock ones can hold what ever you throw at them the cats are awesome too

the turbo is cheaper too, they all look cool but yeah i wouldn't help but feel like ive downgraded to a 5.0l non supercharged engine.. they might suffer from gt86 syndrome and be very common! next car for me = wrx i reckon, like them but too bad no towbar capability.. also unsure on actually how much better fuel consumption i'd get given that i'd probably flat foot it everywhere. Mine gets about 15/100 atm

Maybe look into an alternative? get a 4g gateway or something? Yeah the falcon 4l turbos are quicker than the 5l v8s (at same or similar power) because of the power curve pretty much constantly on their max power output whereas the v8s wind up. My power on a 6 pretty much runs 10s Can't beat dat dere instant torque and response on the 8 doe Whats eta on your gtr?
