  1. I'm guessing you mean 1999 not 1998, since S15's started in 99.
  2. Finished work and was leaving Burswood through Canning Hwy and saw a 33 that was backwards on the road, and the damage on the front panel looked pretty bad. There were about 4-6 police cars blocking the area, and I didn't get a good look as i was on the other side and just drove past it.
  3. This wasnt at North Lake was it, near Leech Hwy? Supposedly someone hit a pole, took it out and the roads were closed for a while that night.
  4. G-Money: That is messed up.. You know the person who did that? ..
  5. Damn that doesn't look good at all man... GOOD LUCK finding them!!!!!!!! If you do let us konw!!!!!! =)
  6. Sorry to hear it bro... from the sounds of it, it sounds like it might be someone you know.. cuz not only did they steal your items, but took the extra step of smashing your lights and keying your car. Do you know anyone that you might have pissed off or has a grudge against you etc? Hope you get it all fixed mate.
  7. Not the best looking IMO but it is different to the million other white r33's. I'd actually take that over any typical white R33.
  8. Maybe a dumb question, but how do you go about taking off the plate, and actually replacing it on the left hand side of your bumper? I mean, do you need to add holes etc? =(
  9. Post some pics of this car, got me curious =p
  10. Did you catch the guys who damaged your car???
  11. I''m not 100% sure whether i was below or exeeding 29km/h, thats a $100 difference. As for a $150 fine, I'm not sure where you got that but if thats true that even better =D
  12. Thanks dude, just what I wanted to hear. I think I was still lucky that I didn't end up flooring it completely or had my car been faster xD Thanks guys for the answers!
  13. Man to be honest I don't care about the fine at all; I'm more concerned about the loss of license IF that is the case. Does anyone know for sure if 30k over results in a suspension of your license? Even for 1 month?
  14. Yeah I guessed it was that much because I remember Perth having much lenient speeding fines as opposed to the other states. So can someone confirm that around 30km does NOT equal to a loss of license? Oh yeah before someone flames me for speeding, there was no cars on both lanes, and it's so rare for me to speed =(
  15. http://www.officeofroadsafety.wa.gov.au/in...topicsPenalties Note they are the NEW penalties which come into effect on the first of March.
  16. I've always thought you lose your license for a period if its over 40 or 45, not sure. Can anyone back this up?
  17. OK so looks like I'm looking at a $350 fine, unless I'm lucky and they recorded it below 29km/h. Good thing my car wasn't heavily modified or I'd be well over 40km/h o_0.
  18. OK NVM, those are the new penalties starting from March 1. But I have a question, if the fine is processed at a later date and arrives AFTER March 1st, it will still be under the old penalty as the incident happened before right? More than 29 km/h but not more than 40 km/h Was $350 Now $700 o_0
  19. I doubt I went over 100, so my guess is on just below 30km/h over the limit. I just had a look at the Perth Road Safety website, and it says 25-40km over the limit = is now a $750 fine??? and increased to 5 demerit points? Can anyone confirm this? How much am i looking at? My first speeding fine in 2 years; maybe it was a good thing I got caught =(
  20. Thanks mate, just what i wanted to hear.
  21. So basically as long as you keep your revs up more than usual while uphill, it's fine? And my question: is the sound the same as the HKS SSQ BOV? thanks
  22. "This Sequential Blow Off Valve makes a great unique shrill, whistling sound instead of the usual boring "whoosh". Not only does it make great sound, but it also looks good, and is suitable for all horsepower applications. The way the valve in these SQV's works is different to most other valves on the market. The boost running through your piping when your car is under load actually holds this valve shut. So the more boost you run the tighter this valve is shut, resulting in no boost leaks. Other "push" type blow off valves that operate off a spring can often leak under high boost applications, especially at old age. This is the main feature that makes the Sequential Blow Off Valve so popular in all Race, Drag, Drift and even Show applications thanks to its looks. $249 for BOV. $65 for R33/34 adaptor. Deduct 10% if a member of the Autoworx Club." Does this make the same sound as a HKS SSQ? are they as good? and noob question, but are there different types of (atmosphereic) BOV'S that stall as much? thank you
  23. Besides the other guys pointing out this guys stupidity; A JDM spec S15 comes stock with 184kw, not to mention they're a SHITLOAD lighter than a R33, or any skyline for that matter. I'd take an S15 over a 33 gtst skyline anyday.
  24. Well yeah they're def not 'slow', maybe its the hard suspension making it feel slower or the weight, but compared to how it felt to the skyline, there was a pretty big difference for me I guess I will have to find another car because even the supra is too much $$$ for a student like me T_T... hello integra Type-R's
  25. Hey guys I currently own a non-turbo mkiv supra; its a 3.0L I6 engine for those that don't know. Anywayz, my fren took me for a drive in his S1 r33 GTS-T (stock) and uh... i knew non-turbo supras were slow but damn the stock r33 killed it. Made me sad My question is!! How are they on fuel though! I've been told it may be similar to my supra, but then again the r33 GTST is turbo so not sure.. If anyone who has had experience with both cars or even any info on it please let me know cuz im very close to purchasing a 96 SII skyline! THX
