  1. As I have a series 2 Z31 300ZX unless I get ass raped and buy genuine I pretty much have no choice of front brake pads. Was looking at fitting R33GTS twin piston calipers as I don't have the clearance for 4 piston calipers. Stock size for my caliper is 280mm diameter 54mm height 26mm thickness, 24mm min thickness, 68mm centre hole so same as Skyline. R33GTS rotors are 4 stud I believe, is there another Skyline rotor which would do the trick, I only have 16" rims so can't go too huge. Thanks guys
  2. Your username is old300zx, by this you mean a z31 right? If so you have a R200 in your car not a R180
  3. Hi, can I have a price for R32 GTR non Brembo fronts in slotted please. Thanks Matt
  4. Not happy Jan, reminds me when I had some work done on my car. 1 week later felt like I had a flat tyre, turns out they stripped the studs on my left rear. Damn wheel nearly fell off at 80kph. As the other guy said, take it back and show them. I'd hit them for a free wheel alignment to.
  5. I don't know if it makes any difference but the height of the Z32 and R32 disc is 54mm and the R33 and above is 53.75mm. That's why I was leaning towards the R32GTR setup as the all the measurements are the same. If you go the GTR disc you have to get the GTR caliper though, I don't think the GTS-T one will fit on the GTR caliper. If you look at the Yahoo auctions the GTR Sumitomo calipers are going for around 20 000 yen or AUS$210 for the pair plus shipping etc.
  6. I have the Z31 300ZX so mine are Tokiko single piston jobs. I'll get the Sumitomos though when I get the calipers. Don't have the budget for Brembos.
  7. I've decided to put R32 GTR front calipers and rotors on my 300ZX and am undecided on which rotor to use. I can get DBA 4000 series for $180 each in Adelaide or should I go for a Japanese brand eg Endless or Project Mu. The car will be mainly street driven but I will be doing hillclimb and the odd track day in it. What are your opinions on this setup and which gear is the best to use. Oh the car is the early model 300, Z31 so single piston calipers are stock, Cheers Matt
