I dont see the point of turbo timers.. If you know your approaching your destination.. just take it easy 2 or 3 min before you get there.. just like you do when you start the car on cold mornings.. Give the car 30 sec or so while you gather the things you need from your car.. THEN switch it off.. Honestly.. unless your doing track work.. and your car is working at high temps.. then dont bother.. even then.. your at a track.. leave the engine on.. its not like somone is gonna steal it.. Its not like there is so much engine wear due to turning the engine off when warm that it justifies having one.. its called a TURBO timer for a reason.. it allows a TURBO to cool down as they can spin at 50,000 RPM and they do need lubrication as they cool down.. thats why the engine is on to allow the turbo to spin at much slower rpm while being lubricated and cooled.. but i could be wrong..

Reminds me of the 80's yankee style cars.. You definately need spacers.. MASSIVE ones!.. or massive offset If you going to do it.. do it right and mould them.. thats what I think.. if not.. dont bother cos its gonna look shit..

Certian things can be preceived as "childish" Alot of studio Giblie's movie could be called that.. but their just awesome! and while we are on the topic.. Does anyone know what it sais down the side of the Inital D 86?
-
LOL!.. dont worrie.. I did the same thing in another Na thread..

Holly shizen! SLAP THAT THING ON A DYNO! Im really curious! With a sheet! I remeber reading somewhere that the RB25 geodgen pin its higher on the piston and hence lowers CR because the piston sits lower.. Is this true? Was there much work involved in fitting in a 25 oil pump? Have any pics?.. with the timing cover off?.. Or during the build? Cheers mate!

As said before.. heat soak.. Torque will drop.. boost will seem to come on not as strong.. Throttle responce wont be as good.. avoid boosting for long periods of time and keep eye on temp and press..
-
Off the top of my head I remeber it to be the cheapo one.. I could be incorrect.. But I definately remeber 1st or 2nd was the cheapo one.. Ill gladly change and take back mywords if Im worng Between getting that TINY bit of better flow and or filtration.. and saving $150.. Id take the cheapo one.. When Im home in 2 weeks Ill re-hash this and publish the findings.. I remeber they did it quite proffessionaly on a flow table with filtration..

Cheak hoses and make sure their not perished, cuts etc. or slap some braided brake lines on too -
I remeber reading somewhere that with strechted tyres you loose traction surface area from (as you face the car) left to righ.. but you gain it front to back? Is this true?.. If so can somonoe explain?
-
But because its a GTS4 you will loose a certain percentage through the 4WD system..
-
What intake plenum? If you could please tell me all the details in the build.. everything!.. rings, rods, pistons, mm shaved off block etc. etc. etc. What ECU are you using?.. I dont see an AFM
-
Nope.. your sweet.. the 4WD parts are on the drivers side.. I used a 2dr zorst fromt a GTST on my 4door GTS4 and had no worries..
-
wrong. When Im home next.. Autosalong mag did a filter test.. they took something like 14 filters.. from the ceapest being $15 to the top end $180 one. Wanna know a funny fact?.. The best over all flow and filter reading came from a cheapo one..

-
WOW!.. your technicalities amaze me!.. I cont say about six cylinders.. but when i had one on my pulsar.. at about 3K it sounded similar to a rex.. strange.. I know.. cool?.. you bet! It was some cheapo brand of filter but made a considerable difference!
