My Green 33 N/a - Now Rb25det Conversion
GTS4WD replied to H@ME's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
The calipars will fit in the DBA rotors without a problem.. just ensure that the with is the same on each.. then bobs your uncle.. well.. i dunno.. do you have an uncle called bob? I would definately get DBA's if your planning on doing all of the things you want to do.. id suggest even get a set of slotted and drilled ones as an upgrade.. save you from buying them later and spending money now on stocko ones.. but thats just me.. -
Can you give us a run-down? My audio is rooted.. Im with the above.. Take away my car.. not only am I not going to give it up without a fight.. not only is it UNJUST not only is it a fine of what your car + mods is worth.. but is the serious Mc Shits your going to have for the next 6 months.. Because i dont think insurance is going to cover this.. I think its too ridiculous for it to be passed..
-
Im looking into getting a set of even smaller tyres.. so im curirous about this too.. Whats the smallest size you can go on an 8" rim? Are there any advantages/disadvantages with stretched wheels? Traction? something?

f**ked Up Body Kit From Dmd Motors!
GTS4WD replied to R33Turbo's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Thats a punch the goolies for DMD Is there anyway YOU could fix it? Buy a fiberglass kit.. a little sand paper.. and your goin great guns! Its an option for a last resort.. Saves you a whole heaps of money! -

If you commit break and enter.. do the police have the right to trash and steal out of your home? If you shop lift.. is it fair for them to five finger discount your belongings? If you commit arson.. do they burn down your house? Personally.. I think its the biggest load of jizz in the world!.. I think its disgusting! I remeber reading in an Autosalon Mag that in NSW, after the "no turbo, no charger, V8's, V6's" law came in, P plater accidents INCREASED!.. and wanna know why? A performance car is a much safer car. Bigger brakes, better stability, traction etc. etc. etc. Theres people that think, hay!.. I can speed in my 1989 Corrolla.. and its the same thing as doing it in a REX. And its just not the case.. these cars are SO scary at high speeds its a joke!.. You loose control far too easily and its quite hard to re-gain again. I think "street racing" is a joke and brings a bad taste to modified car scene. I just know if by some cop on a power trip or some wanna be hard arse "street racer" at the lights, my car happens to get crushed/confiscated.. I think id break down.. thats my 2c

Ghetto modification is based on: 1 x Cordless drill 1 x Angle grinder and 1 x big f***k off disk 1 x big hammer 1 x crowbar 374m of electrical tape 867 x cable ties Follow these simple steps and you WILL run 9s and drift like Tsuchia! .. how do you think im so awesome!?!.. Nah mate.. Dont have much time for it.. sorry.. but feel free to shoot me through a PM if you need anything Calipars will fit without any problems.. make sure you bleed the brakes after playing around with them to ensure there isnt any air in the system I still think unless your doing trackwork or full song through twisties a pair of awesome brake pads should be sufficient for street driving.. especially if you have ABS -
WHEN WILL TOP GEAR GET THEIR HANDS AHOLD OF IT!?!

Hmmm.. Because its already drilled 5 stud. You may be able to use one.. maby two of the existing studs.. and drill the other 2 or 3.. Ghetto? ..you bet!.. Safe?.. Probs not. Best bet is to get some blank BDA's.. their about $150 each. Does your car have ABS? Will you be driving full song through twisties or doing track work?.. if not.. id recomend some high quality performance pads and you should be right for street driving.. Fan belt is inccorect size.. my power steering belt is about 5mm too long and sqeils when cold on full lock. When does it squeel? Then we can determin what belt it is. P.s.. long post?.. You havent seen some of my rants yet.. have you? :laughing-smiley-014: -
Yip.. as above, button clutches are a B***H in traffic.. and very on/off. It makes for very uncomfortable driving and very unsmooth. Unless your planning for a REAL big power increase in the future. Dont bother. It will be FAR too much pain for what its woth. Especially if your coupling with a lightened flywheel. How light? I know below a certain weight, lightened flywheels are quite hard to get off the line quickly. Couple this with a brass button and you setting yourself up for high blood pressure. I have an exedy clutch.. its AWESOME!.. Dumped it a few times with absolutely no slippage. Theres a good feel. Not heavy at all but enough to know when its in or out. I baught mine for ~$280 for the full package of pressure plate, clutch plate and bearing. Please keep us posted. Im curious how a lightened flywheel stacks up to a stock one. Just a tip. Theres a bloke in America selling lightened flywheel with postage for about AUD$300.. Not too bad really.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Billet-Stee...sspagenameZWDVW Hope it helps

Meh.. Leave him be.. In the vid he showed an avg. of 14.5 sec GTST's.. Yes there are MUCH quicker GTST's.. Yes he COULD have a 13 sec cordia Yes his sister and his mother are the same person.. But who cares? I say let him brag on the hybrid car forums. At least he is quicker than cars that run off cow farts..

Which Car To Get? Hard To Decide

I think the EVO is the best trade off.. I has the benefits of the AWD and tubro (with better performance than the A4).. More attractive than the STi Better performance and appeal than the BM Tunning potentials are far better than the BM and rx8 Other options include: Type R Liberty 3L NA or Turbo (NA is by far a better option, more power and responce than the GT) Forester GT 350Z S2000 Alfa Brera - SEX! ..just thought Id complicate things a little bit more.. -
I like the understated plates: SLW32R ZZZZER - Sleeper SHT32R
-
I think I need a moment.. Thats far to sexy for my old R32 How dificult is it to wire up? All those fuctions within the display must be a pain in the arse to tap into all the appropriate areas of the ecu and loom.
