  5. ..guh.. Can we please Sticky a unversal "How do I get more power?" and "What do I need for my exhaust?" thread!?!? In all honesty.. there isnt much you can do to get decent power out of an RB25DE without taking out the block.. As said before.. pretty basic plan is Intake New cams Ajustable cam gears Port and polish Shave/deck the block headers Zorst ECU and re-tune.. Work your way through that.. and you should be sweet.. I suppose if all done well you could get 160kw.. perhaps? You could always go a 3L bottom end.. Could have you pushing 220kw.. perhaps.. With NA engines.. dont aim for a "larger power figure" thats all bolocs.. aim on making your engine more resposive with a larger powerband..

  8. I gotta do dads fuel pump.. Its a cronic Missfire and and wont make power after 4K.. How did you relocate the pump from internal to external?

Braided brake lines will be the first after the bottom end.. DBA's front and perhaps Z32 calipars all round or GTR's.. not too sure what Im gonna do about the rears yet.. Another Grand gone.. I CURSE YOU MODIFING BUG!.. just like the bug in Eug's sig!
  10. yes.. Im in.. deffinately.. If we receive them mid-late Jan.. I may be able to save and get some sort of ECU sorted out and funded to afford a re-tune too I have a feeling that heat wrapping those headers is going to be a BIATCH!

  12. R32 GTS4 has a slightly shorter 1st 2nd and 3rd gear.. Look at the workshop manual
  13. Can you also tell me if the car to progressivly get more difficult to start?.. And How and what you guys did to solve the problem! Cheers mate! Btw.. is your fuel pump enough for the power increase?
  14. PLease tell me how this is fixed!!!!!! After doing two rb25 conversions.. I still havent figured it out! Cooler looks mean poking out from the front bar!.. Congrats man!.. Enjoy it.. but learn it first! Lookin forward to next round of mods!
  15. I dont think it is.. It starts very ritch.. I have a feeling it has something to do with the fuel pump regulator or something of the sorts.. With the two Rb25 into R32 convo's i have done I noticed that the guage speed reads MORE than your acctually doing.. The only two probs I have had.. OH!.. and the pully at the end of the crank.. make sure it has as many grooves as all of the other pullies in the system..
  16. Did an Rb25DEt VVL and the rb20det fuel pump is not enough. The inlet mani IS NOT appropriate.. The front pipe of the exhaust is different.. I.e it has different flanges and will not mate appropriately.. And be warey.. please tell me if after the conversion you have difficulties with the engine starting hard.. I found that the first week or so it was sweet as, and got harder and harder.. to the point it has to crank over 6 or so times to start.. other wise everything else you have seems to be in good order

  18. Im with funkymonkey.. NA engines are about responce.. I laught when people say "I want 300KW".. Focus your NA on responce and trorque with a beefy power band.. 2.5" is good for an NA..
  19. Spray a shit load of de-greaser.. wait a min or so.. high pressure water cleaner.. Brand spankers
  20. Definately change.. It will wear ur clutches between the gearbox and transfer box out.. its an an expensive re-build..
