  1. It performed very well in Motor magazine's bang for buck competition, beating many cars worth more than double it's price in straight line acceleration and lap times at Oran Park. All the journo's loved it - bang for buck. You get alot for little outlay. It's not for me as its FWD - the work of satan. But each to their own. Be interesting once the aftermarket tuners get hold of them and tickle some more power out of it.
  2. Driving the Nurburgring is on my 'life to do list'. I'm going to europe for a holiday this time next year, and I will definitely be doing at least a lap of the famous circuit - Hire car here I come!!!! Any tips for me? Where to hire car? How to get there? Accommodation?
  3. Unfortunately I didn't get to enjoy my car for that long as some MOFO stole my 180 from the gararge it was getting tuned at in Five dock NSW. I only got to drive it around for a few months. oh well! it was fun while it lasted. and I got a big cheque from the workshop's insurance so it turned out ok. I do wish I still had it sometimes though......
  4. Here's some pics of my RB180SX!
  5. My 180SX with the RB25DET was a rarity. I think I was one of the first. At the time I heard of someone putting in an RB20DET, so I did some research and found it's no harder to fit in any of the RB motors. Once you get the skyline crossmenber it's pretty easy going. Well I think everyone knows the swap now. Gotta love Nissans!!! I wanted to go the almight RB26DETT but I was on a budget, so I settled for the RB25. The car did sit lower once the RB was put in place. The handling was pretty good. I had suspension mods etc.. I'll post up some pics of the old girl anyway for people to check out. Here's a list of mods I had.
