  1. or the guys have set a TP load limit in the remap, i do it to customers i know have fiddly fingers so they cant up the boost.
  2. definatley not leave it open or else it wont open as a BOV. (its a vent when used in BOV operation)
  3. no you can use these bovs to control boost, we are on the same page. The second nipple is used to lift the valve @ the desired boost level.
  4. ive used a few over the years but have reverted back to using twins, as most want to drive in traffic traffic. The ORC twins drive like stock and have a light pedal but the tripples are too agressive for a daily in peak hour traffic IMO. I lived with one in a supra for a year before i retrofitted a twin and never looked back, car was only making mid 400's though so it was not really stressing the twin. what sort of power you making?
  5. Correct.
  6. superchargers generally suck unfortunaly we do alot of superchargers on v8's and so forth and it is suprising how laggy most of the popular ones are.. makes a T51R look responsive typical boost curve for a charger --- > http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/po...boost-curve.jpg Thread with a few graphs ive posted ----> http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fi...66#entry4561766 A properly setup charger (900nm @ 3000rpm ) ---->
  7. those reports aint worth shit, pics tell the story a million times better. I used to similar reports for another company and you have to pick the shit out of a car, we could make anyone's car not matter how good look shit on the report...

    Hey Mexicans

Just spent another day (monday) @ PI and it is easily the premier track in the country, nothing comes close. If you can time it right it more than worth the effort. It was by far the best day ive been to for ages.
  9. you can use it to control boost, much like a wastegate.
  10. dyno jets read quite high and ive noticed the us guys tend to qoute flywheel power when using dynapacks (they use the TC factor caculator) The issue with E85 seems to be the storage tanks,no one wants to cough up for the required tanks and subsequent regs etc..
  11. true 1.5j's are not as good as 2jz.
  12. OVERFILL THE OIL. number one thing.
  13. Its the only one i wont be testing as i know a few guys running them with no issues, the main reason though is in a s13 chassis it will hang too low as ive lowered the engine 25-35mm it will scrap ants off the pavement.
  14. there is a lot of differences, the r34 picks all its power from in the car R32 takes it from behind lh headlight recess. its easier to retro fit r32 stuff onto r34 engine. You could if you were patient swap all the electronic engine control gear from the r34 engine loom onto the r32 engine loom but only utilize the body / wiper / power portion. I have done it all before (in our s13 i did the above so that it all plugged in as per factory) i have also done a R32 rb26 into S15 the same way but its ALOT of time and effort, especially in your case as the only benefit is internal igniter.
  15. i havent fed them 2 bar but at 1.6bar they were ok.
  16. ahh bugger i have the vq but not another adr file. my er34 adr files are all nistune.
  17. good to hear its growing in leaps and bounds. Trent
  18. nah its not, SC400 is the US lexus model designation. THERE ARE NO REAL SC400's here as they are LHD I used to have a few soarer's and we were well known for getting the tv's working in the GT models.
  19. whats your email i'llsend through the vq map. Cant post file type here.
  20. im sure we can squeeze it in sometime.
  21. FARK left hand drive GTR....
  22. was ther an engine pic posted? all i saw was bikes (just got back from a rideday @ PI.. got the fever again)
  23. It should be fine, just dont get to spirited Most of the time they are safe enough till load point 10 or so.
  24. LOL yeah but the problem is our race car still has it so everyone we build an engine for goes "i want one too" and we get into the converstion of why we no longer do it PS i remmebr reading a few months back in a Laptop thread what type everyone was using.... lately i've been having performance issues with mine (read dropping, splashing and incar datalogging during drift mishaps) i decided to bite the bullet and buy a toughbook like yourself... best investment ever.
