  1. fit aftermarket 15psi ones for best results, or just set the boost via a mbc like a turbo tech. Id suggesta remap with the restrictor removed it willrun 15psi flat or any boost with a mbc. Dont boost it too much with the factory tune without having it checked on a dyno.
  2. id drop the restrictors down in size, i tested the rear drain on our engine on the dyno and found it did NOTHING useful... so we dont bother with them. We drop to 0.95 in the drift 26's and have no issues, the 25's need more like 1.2mm or your lifters start to starve.
  3. try stock coil-packs ive had a fair few of the newer released aftermarket coil packs dying .... LIKE 50% so we only install splitfires now.

  6. what sump ? dont post it please pm me. We lost a engine (luckily our own) cause the aftermarket sump we used had the pickup mounted too close to the sump floor.
  7. Nah its got nothing to do with power, the values are fuel corrections. 1.00 means there is no correction 1.10 means 10% and 1.20 means 20% all numbers over 1.00 are adding fuel, corrections like 0.90 are 10% deductions.
  8. ive run our greddy pump to 9000 and its pretty much the same pump. Stock tomei baffled sump all ok, what sump and capacity are you using?
  9. having owned most s and r seires nissans and a plethora of toyotas i would love to fit a multithrottle 2jz into a GTR, much better engine. im amazed its not been done as a 34 box would work witha bellhousing mod and the sump should not be too hard.

  13. there are a few ways to fix this cheaply if you cant afford an engine. Some impressive epoxies nowadays. I had to fix a rb25 for a customer who forgot to tighten his properly aafter doing his own cambelt, done 4 trackdays and 20000kms since repair. the product is a loctite epoxy, i will look up the number. Then use loctite shaft fit on the nose and balancer for extra security.

  15. i reckon the tps is not adjusted properly and is not getting the closed idle signal.
  16. use the nismo metal gaskets on reasembly.. there like 30-60 bucks.
  17. 2jz over a 1jz everyday, as for the autos we just did a 400kw + std 1jz with 3500stall pretty cooll car.
  18. sell it buy a turbo The NA cars have weak boxes, crap brakes and require more money to make decent power than it would take to buy a R34 GTT the VH45 aint a flash engine, prick to fit and at the end of the day the same effort could be put towards fitting a 1UZFE (far better engine) better aftermarket support (chargers, ecu's and if your keen internals) TBH NOS is our first choice for NA r34's as its cheap and effective and has no lasting drawbacks.
  19. haha like bolts in to a soarass, done 10000000's of times. Using a supra setup is easier than an aristo setup wiring wise. Oh and start with a manual soarass, by the time you convert an auto soarass you will be broke We ahve done a few 2jz convo's and have used the cheap w58 (non turbo 5spd) but they are a bit fragile over 250rwkw
  20. thanks for the support guys i appreciate it alot but like i posted earlier there are plenty of guys who should be able to sort it quick smart, i seriuosly would not wait 1.5 months so why should you. My business revolves around tuning and engine building everything else takes second tier to that, i can usually squeeze in tuning and so forth but i cant push around tuning jobs for diag as its not my core business.   22. nah the twins on a stock stroke 26 cant match a well setup single for low and mid torque. Ive got countless graphs proving this all on the same dyno... my dyno. There can be excepions but they come a setup cost that is stratospheric. our old hack used to make 540odd nm @4000rpm most twins are about 50nm off this.
  23. seriously just take it somewhere, any workshop worth a damn should be able to sort it. Remapping aint gonna do shit, i know i wont touch a car for a tune unless it is bug free... i doubt anyone else would either.
  24. i dont think you could go wrong with one of thier shorts, the MLS stuff is fine and we have used them in countless engines.
