  1. too small and never hold boost. The 10cm in not available in the L2 trim. We use the t67 8cm on some rb25's (decent mid) but they are restricted hevily up top, 10cm T67 is the go for rb25
  2. not exactly, just saw some flaws in others comments on the L2, thought id clear it up. My choice would be Hks gt3037s around the 0.73, or T67 8cm.
  3. so far 4700 seems about the sweet spot on anything smaller than gt35R.
  4. haha PFC d-jetro for the win, maybe adaptronic? cheap and easy and map based for your itb's. ps it has to be map based for itb's.
  5. He does all our cars and actually has my 1977 ltd down there for pimp treatment too great blokes and crew, Vu, kenny, van and the boys.
  6. you spun it too hard.... or making stoooopid power.
  7. Its just plain bad design, 90 degrees off the collector is never gonna work on genuine high hp stuff and it doesn't. We have had to extensively modify them (dual outlets to gate) to work properly.
  8. L2 on std SR20 with HKS 264 in and ex, std valve springs, ikeya formula 4 tb plenum. 300rwkw on a fairly "fat" tune (less timing and 11.8afr) as engine was std. i would expect to see another 20rwkw easy in that car at the same boost, cams were a bit small too.. and springs were borderline rpm wise.
  9. L2 graphs on 2 liter, only ran it to 7300 as engine was only a hour old and the box was noisy (std sr box0, should make power to 8200. 18psi 272deg cams big lift, engine built by us. We should be able to crank up the boost in the next few weeks, i predict 340-355rwkw ish at 1.5 on pulp.
  10. L2 is good for 300rwkw on a track weapon no worries at about 20psi. Here is the GTK550 @ 25psi (this is the only graph i have on this computer) this is about 40rwkw shy of its potential because the fuel system was not adequate so i had to dumb it down. I reckon its the worst turbo i've seen on a sr to date but on a rb26/30 id be happy.
  11. Rob is the best welder ive seen to date, top bloke to boot too and is his bro Danz. If i could get all my fab workdone by them i would but its logistically impossible. For exhausts i use Ultimate exhausts on hammond road, best guy in the se area.
  12. should be fun, drop past once it finished. Sorry we could not help out... but we got enough conversions and i hate doing them
  13. booked in for next Friday i'll let you know then.
  14. haha yeah i just rejected a whole lot of PROCOMP gear (heads, sheet manifold etc) as it was all junk. It is just a joke, but other gear from the right place (non procomp) is actually quite good ie stroker cranks and so forth all seem to be spot on
  15. what engine i can pull up some runs for you. I have heard mixed results on reliabilty but thats the case with everything i suppose. I think ive had 3 or 4 through two on sr's and they were pretty good for top end power but i remmber the sr20 one with gtk550 made 380rwkw but hit boost at 5800 or something stupid....
  16. TD06SH-25g 10cm will do the trick, bolt on too . I just finished a R34 with a td06-25g (not the SH) 10cm which was nearly the same as the 8cm T67 in power and response, which was quite interesting (peak @4000rpm). In cars ive seen here the TD06SH-25g 10cm has a lot more top end at least 30-40rwkw than the T67 8cm. If budget and fab was'nt an issue i would say the K5-660 or k5-700r, we just finished tuning the race car with the K5-660R and it is quite something... we did back to backs with a GT35R and it was more responsivee than the GT35R (20 pound by 4200) and still makes 400rwkw @ 20psi.
  17. its irrelevant either way. Im sure if we have more than 5mins to look at it we will have it sorted asap.
  18. the manifold is probably your issue the gate pipe exit angle is pretty severe and we have had to mod a few to make work properly.
  19. knock is not an issue as all timing maps had retard removed.
  20. could be a few things, its not the tuning. We just ran out of time and i could not diagnose it before we had to shut shop (prior arrangments) I reckon we will fit metal intake pipe and scope the crank angle sensor etc. Car has a history of electrical issues but hopefully Should be an easy fix.
  21. what rear you using? i reckon looking at your power its an 8, the 10cm has bugger all more lag on the rb25 yet supports another 30-40rwkw easy.
  22. yeah its quite common, we do a few.I prefer to use the d-jetro though. There are a few guys on here we did it for so you should have no dramas nutting it out.
  23. brown lc1 wire to an 1 on the datalogit box. go to inovate there is instructions specific to the datalogit there. edit: here's the link http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/resourc...fc_tutorial.php
  24. being auto its bit of an issue, ive used pfc's and plugin stand alones with fair success with the autos, luckily the skyline auto's are not to complex. The link should have no issues but will require someone who knows what they are doing to give the auto what it needs.
  25. depends on the ecu, any good map based ecu doesnt need it, it just needs more time tuning. Im pretty sure jarrods (wheezy) does not run one... i cant remmeber its been awhile since we tuned it. Im pretty the manifold is all good now too as had to get it cnc'd flat for him and tune it for the classic skylines event last month.
