  1. i cant remmeber your setup but you could use the std feed as the return. What is your expected power goal? Im feeling your pain cause we are currentley setting up a fuel system in a soarer (still using std tank, but modified internally) for 1500hp (-10 feed -8 return) and it is a nightmare running that size line
  2. R34 Neo + HKS 2835Pros = best bolt on....
  3. the r34 does indeed have a boost sensor it is located near the std bov. It is located where the ignitor pack is on a early r33. Said map sensor cuts all fun if it goes out of range.
  4. bad news as this drops the sump below the xmemeber and is the fist thing to strike the ground in a S-chassis.
  5. probably just plugs or coil packs.....
  6. http://www.bulletcylinderheads.com.au/nissan_sr20.php http://www.bulletcylinderheads.com.au/nissan_rb26.php sending both an SR20 and RB26 head over to these guys in the next few weeks.
  7. NAh thats the RX6 "isamu" kit and is one of the best turbos on the market...... the first one i ever played with ended on up on this car (killed the GT35R for power and response) ---> http://s188.photobucket.com/albums/z46/URA...rent=redr33.flv
  8. haha S15 right? pretty sure its a confused owner with a AX53B70-P22.
  9. swap the supply and return lines around.
  10. Waste of time.... it has only delayed the onset of heatsoak..... for a few mins Anyone who thinks this is a good upgrade is on drugs....... you honestley get about 3/4 of a lap (two or three more dyno pulls) more before it is just as heat soaked as the stock unit.....
  11. about the only cheap turbo's we will use are hypergear turbo's. So far they seem to be the only sub 900 turbo that doesnt boomerang.
  12. having been a rotary owner including a 350rwkw series 6 built by supposed best rotary guys around..... i would say its a bad idea...... rotary's are way cool.... but one one rule always stands true ---------->braaaaaaaap BANG
  13. the one you got from jaycar is it in a clear smoked case with a few adjustable orange dashpots on it? if it is burn it ....... its your problem.
  14. um actually it did.... do your math yen was 97-101 then dropped to 55..... nearly half..... and guessing he is sitting on stock he bought around that price a month or two ago he would be fair to ask for nearly double..... simple maths. nismo or hks same thing from the denso factory, the sard, powerenterprise and blitz etc are a little diff but still from denso. In your setup VIPEC/ LINK you would not tell between any of them as they are all high impedance. Quick tip: JZA80 injectors fit fine and there are a million places selling them cheap in the usa if you really want to save a few $$$$ (i cbf'd with time factor though)
  15. yup with stock cams on @1250 and off @4700rpm
  16. that is spot on, there seems to be a few guys on here that believe there is only one ecu for every skyline
  17. for starters, things like transients, accel pump, idle stabiliser, injector over-run (the switch points) and so forth all rely on minute injector adjustments the smaller the injectors the finer control over these parameters.... big injectors are fine and work well but if you dont need them your car is better off without them especially in a daily driver situation...
  18. to be honest if an engine has let go in a big way i bin the oil cooler if its a cheapie..... if its a decent cooler i get my machinist to flush it and hot tank it..... depends on what your engines worth i supose.
  19. yeah i just got given a 1UZFE.... debating whether or not to swap the 26 out of the laurel or not.
  20. it is always best to use the closest match (but safe say 80-85% duty) injectors as you can get a 'better' tune 'easier', now im not saying that 850's wont suit but smaller injectors at 250rwkw would be my personal choice.
  21. this is a killer car, let down early on by china turbo's (kkr) i think it now runs something martin imports. If this car ever came up at the right price i would jump on it asap.
  22. hmm depends i have far more respect for tuners in other fields like race bikes (ten times our engine technology), jet, boats and southern 80 boats and especially race aircraft...... put simply if you tune a plane wrong it ends in death..... its all about what vehicle and for what application..... carb, injection, land, sea, air etc.... Drag tuning (EFI) is by far one of the simplest facets of the tuning game.
  23. go the LS1, better a/m support, just as involved and honestly better than any rb combination for torque.... especially if you charge it down the road. Image this charged LS2 in your R32......
  24. MTQ in Vic or GCG overnight. Any large truck exhaust place will also have a good range.
