  1. thats a rotary plug from memory, on anything over 1.9bar or big hp i like to use the fine flush type electrodes heat ranges 8-10. (many advantages, i wont list) see pic
  2. i usually have to swap em out for BCP's.
  3. how is yours going now?
  4. haha nah but they always have Z32's, BCPR and BKR plugs 040's, 02 sensors etc out the back ready to go for me so if anyone ever needs them in a hurry on a sunday or whatever it may help you out. Crazy range of silicon hose instock too.
  5. I flew to Mt ISA to tune a GTR and i can tell you it is an eye opener....
  6. stay away from my autobarn narre stash
  7. that will be fine, the restrictor on the stock fitting is about 1-2mm and the speedflow one is about 4mm from memory.
  8. most repcos have them in stock, i usually buy 30-40 at a time of both BKR7E and 20-30odd BCPR7ES cause my work is split between RB's, SR's and JZ's.
  9. are the boost controller lines common? and secondly where is the boost source for the controllers solenoid? (turbo or plenum)
  10. Use BCPR7ES forget platinum plugs and tell your tuner to stop using BKR's in RB's.... they are 2.5mm shorter and only amplify ignition problems due to poor contact.
  11. Both are plug in, both are identical. for non belivers here is a pic of the LINK. Having used both i can honestley say flip a coin to which one you decide to buy.... as the only differrence is the badge. If you look closely at the second pic you can see the VIPEC has the LINK logo blacked out (some were covered in a white sticker).
  12. sweet car, bit of decent suspension work and you will lap far quicker, stay away from the chiniese crap though.
  13. been (and many others) doing all that kinda stuff since v8 soarers came ashore 10 years ago...... pretty simple.
  14. No need those are just dampers for the std injectors.
  15. haha you must have never had the pleasure of driving a manual with no clutch for a period of time no doubt you will pick it up in no time. But yeah the ppg boxes are a great peice of kit (sweet to drive) and the boxes they supplied for our race cars were always spot on and driving Cats and mark phillips R33 proved the PPG to be the best offering available here. One thing to always remmeber is to put together a thorough maintence scheme as no box is a set and forget item, i remmeber having a converstion with nomuken and abe and they were complaining about the hollingers are and the expense of keeping them together... one missed OH and it was game over (2 DNF later)...it put all plans we had for implementing one on hold (could not afford to keep one in the car). It will be interesting when the latest offering from ex hollinger engineer $#@$ finishes testing on his new seq box. Rated well above the hollinger in constant torque / hp loadings and priced under 10k retail should see it sell like buggery.
  16. i think adriano was thinking the same thing i was. My concern (possibly unfounded) is that differrent thermal expansion rates would play with bearing crush... and or centricity
  17. probably about 5 in various drift cars i can think of.
  18. got a few R32's in atm. Feel free to bring it in. $0
  19. looks ok
  20. Nah full set of belts. it was about 4mm - 5mm thick.
  21. vacuum /boost leak..... cheack over cooler pipe joins etc. 02 sensor feedback wont effect anything other than cruise and light load, full throttle is derived purely from specific map values.. oh turbo could be on its way out, check boost curve.
  22. Every one has their own input on this, just the other week I was looking at a race motor built by stillway in japan with 10k rpm limit and it had a pretty sweet balancer on it, looked stock apart from a far larger centre weight on it. the diameter of the ring was nearly 28cm stock is around 15cm.... this solved all their oil pump failures.
  23. soon we are revising the DA car into a neat streeter, same running gear but without the big kit, wing etc.... hope to have it completed in about a month.
  24. download RSM install guide from apexi website, it has all the relevant pinouts.
  25. sweet, i just wish someone would screw something together to take out summernats that would be the ultimate goal.
