  1. hardest thing i have ever tried... the raptor just got a make over as it had a terrain interuption (crash) flew it all day then had a brain fade and well blades and shite everywhere quite a pissa
  2. LOL yep decided to upgrae from my Raptor 30 heli and bought the panther 50 which is a bit bigger and more 3d friendly.... and low and behold the damn thing is made by HYUNDAI... i kinda feel dirty athached some pics of the old and trusty raptor. and the unbuilt hyundai panther.
  3. as ash said if they cant give you specs...... stay away, ive had some nightmare highflows through from a so-called reputable qld trader so ebay would be just asking for trouble.
  4. har yes its a td06S-20g 8cm expect 240-260 ish as its the small rear... very responsive though.
  5. yeah im pretty sure thats whats on wheezys rb20 and it worked VERY well. Ive also used one on a turbo 20V Ke70.

  7. has the oil cooler been on for long? i have had a few (two one s15 and the other a s14) customers come to me with similar issues and it only happens when the oil gets real hot.... it turned out they had installed the oil cooler lines up wrong and when the thermostat opened it lost oil pressure. BUT most of the time the Rb's get dodgy sender syndrome.

  10. try 23 psi the increase from 18 to 23psi yeilds great results, yet from 23-25 it definately hit the wall. i agree it doesnt drive much like the stock turbo but who would want that

  12. awesome setup, good components with a well thought out plan ad application. So often i get cars dropped off that are based on the hp rating of the turbo and not the application. We did a S15 earlier this year to achieve similar things (you probably know athid) decent plenum, decent turbo setup, cooler ecu etc and well it produced the craziest curve and torque i have ever seen outta a SR20, i cant wait to see your dyno grpah as im sure they will be very close. here is athids;

Buy a drift one, better than both. i have some weak check stats somewhere comparing particulate size and the drift one came up very well.. i will see if i can find it. oh and if anyone is in melb and want cheap MOTUL i usually stock about 3-4k of the stuff atany time and will beat any price, especially if your a regular i supply the melb s15 club etc..

  16. haha i did 4 r32 remaps this week and a r34.... so theres another 5 "family" members out there
  17. should be half that, as of late have been doing the Z32 remps for $800 drive in drive out if you supply the z32 ecu ( or $950 if i supply it, as they are $150 at any wreckers) there quite a bit of mis-information about exactly what needs dong but it is actually very simple and only requires simple pin swaps and the addition of a 02 sensor wire.

  19. to be honest every product needs a gimmic to market (the autotune is no gimmic) and with the vipec they have chosen to that particular feature to spruke. I come from a marketing background (of late). Auto tune is great but there is also the time needed to actually interface the wide band etc... which itself probaly takes more than 20mins the first time you hook it up..... To me i pay for a product like the vipec as it has the resolution and computing power upgradabilty add on features etc... all thing required to do the job properly, to me the auto tune side of things is a add-on luxury that makes no real differrence to the ACTUAL ecu... what if microtech offerred the same autotune? i know i still would not buy one.... buy an ecu based on other parameters... of which the VIPEC / LINK has loads.

  24. that dash looks pretty sweet i bet though a decent PFC d-jetro tuner and a decent LINK / vipec tuner would end up with the same hp at the end of the day... i proved this at a far lower level months back when i matched the vipec plugin with a emange ultimate kw for kw in the same car on the same day, but i can tell you now though an emanage will never con close to the levels your taking your car to (i find high 300rwkw's is the ceiling of the EMU) im yet to find the ceiling on a PFC dejtro although its lack of comprehensive dataloging is a downfall. again i will reiterate the G4 Extreme Link in the turbo bimmer i tuned the other day was by FAR the easiest stand alone i have EVER tuned or played with, i think the G4 Exteme is the V88, in fact it took only 1/2 day to wire it, config it and then a few hours to tune it, and the bimmer had some wierd ass sensors and triggers happening. Doing a skyline would prolly take half the time. Great product. the big test will be the VVTI jza80 supra wire in and tune i need to do in coming months, it has a EMU in it now and will be getting the G4 extreme / V88 it was about the only Ecu i was happy / comfortable to use to control the VVTI, i considered the v-manage but why have two ecu's dong a job when one could do it better.
  25. im yet to hear back so if i get no resolve ill probably do the same.... want to wind some boost into this r33 badly. How you finding the K-mon? i working to get a dyno interface so we can log it i also want to play with the datalogit inputs to do the same but im pretty time poor
