  1. should run on gtr injectors, SR's will run fine going from 370 - 550cc on std ecu.... enough to get to tuner anyways.

  4. nice turbo the 3076, i got a spare new GT3082 bolt on kit here if you want a lazy 250-280 (turbo, lines and dump $2650) but it is not for beginers (not sure if that applies)
  5. best to use pressure sensor. better resolution... gm sensor works fine to and cheaper.
  6. hahah no chance the 8cm is making 1.4 bar @ 3700 and 327rwkw (470nm) while the 10cm is on full song 1.4bar at 4100 and pumping out 378rwkw. this car was our turbo mule bolt GT3582R, GT3076 and T67. above results are on std internals no cams.
  7. height diferrence is in the ceramic side not the combustion side, i have had a few rb's break down due to bad contacts. Use BCPR7(e) the BKR7E etc usually work but there is no reason to use the wrong plug as both are easy to get and both the same price, if i remmember correctley yours makes big power so chase up some 8 heat range.

  10. yeah just wire the signal wire into the emanage ultimate via the analog input channels (page 19) in manual clamp the voltage same as you would a boost cut in the afm etc.. i charge $550 to tune the emanage ultimate, PFC, Haltec, NISTUNE etc... i prefer to use a field harness on the stagea as it allows me ti wire it on the bench and gives the customer the option to remove it neatly if selling the car. as for price the aus dollar is pretty bad so its getting dearer i used to do $1250 drive in drive out.
  11. kinda my point, people expect flat lines under power. they should look more like an inverse power curve to some degree.
  12. NIstune it or emanage ultimate. Here are two emanage ones ive done lately, one is std turbo other is A/m Garret. Personally for 230 i would get a Nistune over a vipec and EMU. The vipec is a good ecu (LINK) but the NIstune still retains all the factory auto controls.   13. 40-45psi as a base- stock lines are usually fine what size turbo?
  14. some times it is impossible to flaten curve to perfection, using that scale makes it internet forum friendly safe from know it alls who whould bag a perfectley good tune, but couldnt tune themselves. i agree it sucks but it probably saves them plenty of headaches.
  15. yeah, the fundamental pins are the same, based on a N4 config.
  16. pull offf fuel return and run pump till empty, then fill up with fuel and drain another 10 or so litres out just to flush. We used to get all the hire cars with the same problem.

  19. incorrect here is a emanage ultimate i did a few days ago for a fellow SAU'er a few post up (nice bloke... who i stuffed around abit sorry ) , limiter is in boost sensor near BOV, usually only need to intercept it over 14psi so i only wire it in when we do turbo upgrade.. Emanage (ultimate or blue) has no issue with the stagea... although i prefer to use ultimate. Nistune is also great and works a treat, as do your TOSHI remaps

  21. 63k build and you were comtemplating an EMS... crazy. Nice build though, big fan of the NEO heads.
  22. take it for a 200km drive around the hills, come home drop the oil then cane the bejeezus outta it.... just hope someone refreshed it properley not just slapped it together as no amount of running in will compensate for a slapper.
  23. 11's just means its poorly built / setup..... theres plenty running 10's here in melb i remmember nathan higgins NA (no nos) 346ci running 11.4 (122.4mph) with his ute in 2004 with way less power..... oh and he gauranteed customers 11's for $5600 drive in drive out..... i would be pissed if i owned rattler
  24. power is qouted without any engine accesories (alt, a/c idlers etc....) BMW seems to be the closest with realistic fly power claims ive noticed of late 335i is rated at 225fwkw = 190rwkw as far as V8's go i get a fair few through here, here are a few examples that would trump just about any other street import and one looks totally std and runs stupid 1/4 numbers. there is no replacement for displacement. (epecially charged)
